What: A field trip for the entirety of Luceti!

Where: The Happiest Place on the Moon, Malnosso World!
Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

The roller coaster...? [And now he's looking up at it and dear Lorelei it looks terrifying.]

[But what if he says no? He doesn't want to wander around alone again. Even the thought of waiting for Peony to get done with riding it seemed like it would take far too long.]

...y-yes, why not. I suppose it doesn't look... too bad.

[It probably won't hit him how high up it is until he's actually on it, though.]

[He can sense how the Fon Master finds the ride intimidating just by how he looks up at it. And to encourage him further, Peony gives him a grin and a pat on the back.]

That's the spirit! And look at that, we're almost up next. [In fact, the roller coaster must of filled up with twenty or so people a head of them and taken off, leaving them five behind the next group.]

O-Oh, really? So soon? [He hasn't had time to write his final will and testament yet!!]

[He might be starting to look a little pale -- not that it's easy to tell seeing as he's always pale.]

[Soon enough.]

Hey, don't worry about it. It's a lot less scary than it looks, and you're with me. It'll be fun. [And besides if something did happen, he'd make sure everything goes to Anise if she ever shows up.]

...I'll take your word for it. [He doesn't sound convinced in the least...]

[Oh! But a car is pulling up now. And they're starting to load people in. Look how lucky they are -- the droids file them in right to the front! They must have a sense of humor installed into them, seeing as they switched the order a bit only after taking a look at Ion's face when the car pulled in.]

[He's just gonna delay it as long as possible and let Peony get in first.]

[Great, great, great!

Peony moves right to the front, more than happy to claim the very front of the car. As Ion still isn't convinced, though, Peony figures he must be losing his touch or not trying hard enough. Obviously it's the latter, so to push Ion's hesitance, he goes behind Ion to put both his hands on the youth's shoulders to gently direct him into the car first.]

Come on, let's get on!

[Gently direct nothing, Ion feels like he's being kindly escorted to his doom here! Reluctantly, he gets into the car, already clinging to the sides for dear life.]

R-Right... ah, does this car have seat belts?

[The answer is no, seeing as the giant bar covered in black foam in front of them is more than enough to hold them down once it gets pressed down.]

[Ion still does not look convinced.]

[Ion may have not noticed it before, seeing as how it was behind them, but now that they are seated in the car, facing them is the ride's sign: Abyss. Peony tries not to laugh at all Ion's reactions, but a small snort escapes him. He takes his seat next, and pats Ion on the back again.

Bright side? At least Ion was on the ride.]

No, but the metal bar should be enough to hold us. Ready? [Almost as if on cue, someone also yells "ready!" from behind them and counts down from 5, 4, 3--.]

As ready as I'll-- [He's cut off as the car suddenly jerks to life, sending them around the corner to begin the ascend upwards with a soft click of the tracks.]

[And with every inch they climb higher and higher, Ion's grip on the bar in front of them grows ever tighter, his knuckles white as a sheet.]



[How much higher is this thing going to go??]

[They go only a little more higher after that, but for dramatic effect the ride clicks slowly the last few notches to the top and pauses there - before moving over the edge and going down, dooown, doooowwwwnn towards the first loop.]

[Since Peony can't help Ion at this point, he just gives a smile and cheers enthusiastically as they tip over the edge. The wait for this ride? Already worth it.]

[Ion is honestly not sure what's worse: when it stops at the top and he can see just how high up they are, or when they start falling oh god oh man oh god oh man.]

[And then suddenly they are looping upside-down and everything is about a million times worse. At some point, perhaps during a particularly tight corner, Ion shifts from clinging to the bar to clinging to Peony, eyes shut tight as he tries to ignore the churning sensation in his stomach.]

[He'll be like for the rest of the ride, and even after it's finally stopped.]

[Peony's cheers continue as they loop upside-down, swerve, rise and dive on the tracks. Although when Ion shifts to clinging onto him, there's almost laughter in his cheering.]

[When the ride ends, though, all the noise dies down and he shifts in his seat to look down at Ion.]

...It's stopped. Are we getting off or going again?

[Though Ion was still rather out of it due to the trauma of the ride itself, at Peony's suggestion of going again, he looks up with what can only be called an expression of horror and practically leaps out of the car. In fact, Peony would have probably never seen the Fon Master move so quickly before!]

[If the droids were capable of laughter, the ones operating the ride would be laughing very hard right about now.]

[He shakes his head, backing up to be more or less as far away from the car without actually heading out of the ride area.]

...n-n... no thank you.

[Indeed, he has not seen Ion move so quickly. So, instead of completely laughing at the scene, he gets out of the car and looks at the Fon Master with some concern. Though, he's assuming something might be linked to the fear shown towards the ride. And if that is the case, he plans to find out.]

... Hah, how about we go for something to eat instead?

That... would be preferable, yes.

[Though he's not quite sure he could even stomach anything right now... but maybe some water would help calm him back down, at least. Either way, the further he gets away from this metal death contraption the better.]

Do you know where they have food stalls around here? I haven't spend quite as much time in this side of the park, so I'm not sure where everything is yet...

[If you want the honest answer-] I don't have a clue, but we should be able to find a place if we follow our noses.

[And then they both wind up hopelessly lost in the park forever...]

Or perhaps we'll find a map at some point on the way...

[Though seeing as this is an amusement park, they'll definitely stumble across a food area soon enough. Lots of stalls selling various fried things on a stick, some covered areas to sit in -- the usual.]

Perhaps, but I haven't seen any around yet. Our best bet is to stick to using our noses and going the opposite direction of the sun if we need to find the exit.

[Which sounds fun, right? It's one reason he hasn't really gotten lost yet. Just be sure not to forget, Ion. Lost Fon Masters is just as bad as lost Emperors.]

[A lost Emperor sounds considerably worse, somehow...]

All right. Then I think I'll just trust your Majesty's sense to find something good.

[Aaand they're walking! Hopefully he'll be able to walk off that slight feeling of nausea by the time they find something.]

[They're walking, and walking - but he swerves to left after a couple of steps because from watching, he knows there must be something good up that direction if the crowd is flowing downward with food and treats.]
