What: A field trip for the entirety of Luceti!

Where: The Happiest Place on the Moon, Malnosso World!
Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

"Ooooh, ouch, Yao. That hurts. That really hurts. I'm wounded here," Simon groaned, staggering into Sam's side. "I haven't had a terrible idea in.... at least twenty-four hours."

[voiceinthedark]

He laughed, nudging him back when Simon staggered against him. "Oh great. I didn't realise we'd broken some kind of record here."

"Well, it'll have to do until I can get back to Whack-a-Zom and finally beat Ten's record," Simon snickered, finding the line to one of the slides and dragging Sam towards it. This one was one you could ride down in inflatable tubes for several people, through tunnels and twists and under a few waterfalls. Looked like fun to him.

"Never going to happen, Three! Ten was just a zombie killing machine! A genius! New Canton didn't know what they were losing."

He grins as they head over to the slide, because needling Simon about that is always amusing.

"Do they ever? Bloody bunch of idiots," he scoffed, rolling his eyes. "I still feel bad for the poor saps who thought that place was their only option."

Sam laughed at that, shaking his head. "The New Canton Collective, yeah, I know. I'm glad the Major is so set on keeping Abel separate."

"They're not all bad. But some of them give me the creeps," Simon confides, grimacing with a mostly-feigned shudder of horror. "I'll take Abel over that any day, thanks."

They were close to the front of the line now, where the giant tubes were stacked up. Singles, doubles, triples. He flicked a mischievous grin at Sam. "Gonna double up with me?"

"And that's the ones who aren't murderous psychos," Sam muttered. "Have you met Esteban? Now there's a guy who creeps me out." All his talk of efficiency and weird business stuff. Ugh.

He raised an eyebrow and shrugged. "I guess. I'm up for that."

"And here I thought you'd be a fan. Let's just make sure he and Janine never decide to join forces, alright? I think we'd all be doomed."

Simon smirked and draped his arm around Sam's shoulders again. "Good. You're not gonna scream like a girl the whole way down, are you?"

[voiceinthedark]

"Me? I mean, okay, the Major has some good ideas but... god, it would be like living in some sort of dystopian military camp if the two of them teamed up." It would be creepy, okay? Seriously creepy.

He rolled his eyes at that. "I have been on roller coasters y'know?"

"And nobody wants that. Especially not me," Simon rolls his eyes in return, but grins at Sam's offended look. "Yeah. I heard you."

[voiceinthedark]

"Yeah. I think I'll pass on that myself."

He glowers at Simon for that. "You're supposed to scream on roller coasters."

"Just not like a girl," Simon teased him with a laugh, giving him a playful nudge towards one of the double tubes now that they were first in line. This one looked like a rather long ride, interspersing some faster drops with some lazy loops through jungle terrain. Nothing too terrifying, but that was alright by Simon. They'd come here to relax too, after all.

He dropped into one half of the inflatable tube and waited for Sam to do the same before he pushed them off down the tunnel.

"I dare you to say that to Janine or Sara if they ever show up. Or to Kate when we see her," Sam replied with a grin. He climbed onto the inflatable next to Simon and gasped as they set off, quickly gaining speed.

"Do I look suicidal to you?" Simon laughed as they started moving, stretched out comfortably in the inner tube, letting out a whoop as they dropped into a short dip and spun around.

[voiceinthedark]

"Occasionally," Sam replied with a soft laugh as they began to spin, gripping more tightly onto the handles. "You must with the way you wind Janine up anyway."

[luckynumberthree]

"That's not suicidal, that's just reckless. Besides, she makes me pay for it later," Simon laughs, his head dropping back against the tube as they spin around another curve.

[voiceinthedark]

Sam ponders that for a moment and then shakes his head. "I doesn't seem like enough of a deterrent then."

"Oh, it's not," Simon answers cheerfully. "She enjoys making me pay for it later as much as I do."

[voiceinthedark]

"Oh god, I do not even want to know. Really!" He grimaced at that.

Simon bursts out laughing as the inner tube drops into a sharp dip and spins them around, exhilarating at the freedom and fun of it. He lets the topic drop there but he's grinning like a loon.

"Damn, I missed being able to do things like this."

[voiceinthedark]

Sam is caught up by his laughter too, giving a breathless whoop as they spin down one of the drops. "It's pretty awesome, yeah!"

"See? I told you you'd have fun," Simon points out as the tunnel straightens out into a lazy stretch of water, gliding under the spotted shade of jungle trees. He sinks back against the tube, boneless and relaxed. "This? This is just perfect. Can I just stay on this thing and not get off?"

[voiceinthedark]

Sam kicked him lightly when he lay back. "Oi, stop hogging all the space!" he protested. "And you could but you'd get all wrinkly."

"This thing is huge, there's plenty of room," Simon laughed, playfully kicking him back. "Besides, you're tiny. And the wrinkly might be worth it. I knew I should have run away to a tropical island somewhere. I could get used to living on a beach all the time."
