Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

I got into an argument with dad.

[And that's all Bulma is going to get.]

You too, huh? What was his problem this time?

[ Because obviously, it's Vegeta's fault, whatever it is. ]

I thought it'd be fun for us to try on costumes in Halloween Land and he didn't want to. Then I told him he should try having a little more fun, but he said something about the dangers of this place. So I kind of got mad at him because he thinks everything is dangerous and we always have to focus on fighting. I just wish he'd stop thinking everyone and everything is out to get us.

[ She sighs, then turns to smash out her unfinished cigarette. She gathers her chips, and climbs out of the chair, motioning for him to join her. ]

I'm sorry, Trunks. You'd think that someone as strong as your dad wouldn't be so worried about every little thing all the time! You'd think a lot of things about him...

[capsulepresident]

[He follows his mom and sighs, which followed with a frown.]

I'm not a little kid anymore, mom. I'm an adult yet dad treats me like I'm a kid or at least that's how I feel. Maybe... Maybe I'll never be good enough in his eyes.

[capsule_corp]

Hey, it's not that you aren't good enough! He knows you're strong, and a great son! Back home, he's always saying that I baby you too much, or that you're too strong for... Pretty much everything.

I'm really proud of you, son. I think you turned out to be a great man, and I think Vegeta knows it too. He's just... [ There's a slight twitch in her face. ] Incapable of showing it.

[He stops walking and shakes his head slowly. His expression turns into a small frown.]

That other Trunks... You and dad still love him, don't you? Do you think if I was more like him, that dad would be more proud of me?

I really don't know how your dad feels about him. When he first arrived, Vegeta treated him almost like an enemy. Then again, he didn't really care for anyone back then.

But, I don't think that's the issue. Being anything other than yourself isn't going to help anything.

Sometimes I wish dad would just say things instead of keeping things to himself.

[A sigh.]

Or am I asking too much of him?

[ Okay, maybe not, but Bulma's still mad at Vegeta. ]

You could try talking to him. I'm not sure it would actually help, but your father does care. He just has stupid ways of showing it.

I'll do that then, mom.

[He gently hugs her before smiling at her.]

No problem, Trunks.

[ She returns his hug, holding onto him for maybe just a moment longer than she might have normally. She nearly warns him not to take it too harshly if Vegeta doesn't respond well... But instead, she steps back, she smiles up at him. Might as well not doom his plans from the start. ]
