[ She gives him a playful swat on the shoulder. ]

I don't do all of that fighting stuff!

[ OH WOW... He's looking right into her eyes, isn't he? And that flutter... Is actually cute?? Before she realizes what she's doing, she leans in closer, because it really seems like a good idea. ]

Ahaha! [He gives an unusual, stilted laugh as she swats his shoulder.]

Are you sure? Your attack is quite formidable! Especially for one with such soft skin.

[Did he really say that? Oh well, it's true isn't it? He leans in closer as well, giving a shining smile. Rock Lee feels like a schoolboy writing love letters on the playground. Truly this is youth.]

SO VERY DOOMED

[ WHEN was the last time they looked around at the ride even?? All Bulma sees now is a closeup of those really creepy eyes. She's totally enamored! And after such a short time too.

And it's all going so fast, but she doesn't actually mind. It feels nice. So she'll just move in closer to kiss him. It's just a little one, on the lips, and short and soft. And when she pulls back, her face is the slightest shade of pink. ]

[For now, Lee didn't have very beady and widely open eyes for anyone other than Bulma. And it all happened so quickly! Suddenly, there was a kiss on the lips. He was left with his own lips puckered, only going through the motions of returning the kiss when Bulma's lips had already left the station.

He blushes more than ever at this. And he's stunned. Finally, he manages to say one word dreamily.]

...Youth...

[His bushy eyebrows sag against his eyes like a pair of weary dobermans as he takes in the sensation and ponders his next move.]

[ She'd seen some strange reactions to affection in her time, but that statement was kind of confusing.

But, in the grand scheme of things, it's nothing too troubling, she supposes, as she rests back in her seat once more. ]

You know, I actually really like you. It's kind of weird, I mean, you're not the type I would typically go for. You're the total opposite of Vegeta!

[ OH YEAH... HER HUSBAND. She should be more worried about his reaction, right? But, for some reason, she can't seem to pull herself out of the haze of newly blossoming romance. ]

Yes, this feels like a true romance of youth... [He whispers intimately.

At the mention of Vegeta's name, his eyebrows quiver curiously.]

Vegeta-sensei? Are you sure? I thought we were both hot-blooded gutsy geniuses of hardwork! But I suppose that he is considerably unyouthful... you know him well?

[He doesn't exactly ease back into his seat because Rock Lee doesn't know how to truly relax ever. But he does bring his bandaged hand over to hold onto hers. They are moving so quickly, a whirlwind of youthly romance!]

[ Totally casual, as if he wouldn't blow something up over this love boat situation. ]

I feel like I should be more bothered by this, since I wouldn't normally be interested in someone else, but... I don't know, it feels like the right thing to do now.

Yes, he has been teaching me wonderful things! So you are his beautiful wife! And also Bulla-san's mother. [Shouldn't he be internally screaming instead at this point.] I must say, without a doubt, you are more beautiful than the rest of your family put together! Why, I'd say you look youthly enough to be Bulla-san's sister.

I feel similarly. You know, all of a sudden I feel as if I've always wanted to have an affair with a married woman! I am sure that things will be alright. We'll find a solution. I'll marry into your current marriage if I have to, just to keep this alive!

[ He really should be, so should she honestly... But instead, pink creeps across her face again at his compliments. ]

I'm not so sure Vegeta would go for that, but you know, he never says anything nice about how I look!

[ What was it he had said earlier? That she looked "fine"? Basically that she wasn't totally hidoeous... Some compliment! ]

He doesn't? But a husband is supposed to shower his wife with love! Bulma-san, I know that I could never run out of ways to describe you beauty! [Shouldn't this be wrong? No, it can't be - this power is so overpowering. And it puts his fear of loneliness at bay. What's the worst that could happen?] For example, your eyes are like blue rubies!

[ She nods, wrapping her other hand around his. ]

I always thought that too. At least you understand how a beautiful woman wants to be treated!

[Ah yes. He squeezes her hand and soothingly rubs one hand with his own.]

Yes... of course I do! Gai-Sensei taught me many things about romance after all, which were supplemented by reading the library's novels of romance, and now they may be truly applied! Name any body part, and I shall describe it to you in the manner of youthly romance!

[ She doesn't even want to know... ]

[ Only... What comes next isn't the feeling of Bulma's lips against his. Instead, as their swan exits the tunnel into the harsh sunlight, it's a hard push to the chest. Maybe even hard enough to knock him right out of the boat, since she's probably catching him off guard.

And that is followed by a shrill shriek of absolute horror. ]

[He is feeling something... like a loss of sensation. And a sudden wave of shame. And being pushed back.

His legs managed to stay hooked to the boat, but his upper body is dipped into the water from how offguard he's caught. He quietly pulls himself up.]

How... Why...

[ For a moment, she's a total loss. And Lee pulling himself back onto the boat only makes it worse. She grabs him by the front of his dripping shirt, and starts shaking him back and forth. ]

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!

OUR HEARTS!

[That is all he cries out in panicked confusion.]

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO OUR HEARTS?!

IT'S NOT OUR HEARTS YOU IDIOT, IT'S--

[ She stops, instantly calm (for the time being) when she realizes what it is. And she releases Lee finally. ]

One of those shifts! That's what happened here, it was just--

[ AND she breaks off yet again, realizing that Vegeta had to have gotten caught in one too. Since she had a feeling he'd gone ahead and gotten on the boats without her.

Suddenly she's fuming, and trying to exit the boat, even though it hasn't quite reached the little docking area. But she's reaching her foot across anyway, trying to get it on the walkway. ]

The shifts! They have stirred our youthly feelings! [And he sees her walking to the edge of the boat, getting the wrong idea.]

Please! Do not throw yourself to the waters out of shame!

[He clambers forward to try to pull her back.]/small>

[ She stumbles back into him, flailing. ]

I AM NOT TRYING TO DROWN MYSELF, YOU FREAK! AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET ON MY BAD SIDE RIGHT NOW!

I AM SORRY! I KNOW THAT YOU MUST HAVE MANY CONFUSED AND CONFLICTED EMOTIONS RIGHT NOW!

[He does try to release her at least.]

BUT WE MUST... REMAIN CALM!

[ At the very least, he distracted her long enough for the boat to actually stop. So now she's definitely breaking free, and she's going to stomp toward the exit. ]

When I get my hands on Vegeta-- UGH!!

[And there she goes! Lee hops out of the boat quickly but doesn't move to follow her. Everything seems so weird that it's probably best to let her leave. He waves her off cheerily.]

It was still nice to know you! Bulma-san! The wonderful wife of...

[Then his voice falters as his smile dies.]
