[There is almost no force behind his words, no steel bite. He does not have the energy for this. His heart is exhausted, tugged in opposite and distant directions - he needs to be alone, but he can't, he hates everyone around him, but he's pulled into their gravity just because the warm bodies are better than cold emptiness. It's been taking everything he's got just to not fall apart.]
