Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

Right? I don't even know what's going through my head sometimes.

Then I'm sure you won't mind if we go talk to that attendant over there.

[Victory is his. Or will be, since he's tugging on Isamu's arm as he starts walking over towards the girl.]

Who knows, we might be able to get ourselves a better place in line. The worst that could happen is that she'll tell us to go get in the line like everyone else.

[Ugh why.]

Or we get kicked out of the park...

[Buuut being dragged along as usual.]

[Did you say something, Isamu? Richard isn't listening. He's too busy putting on his best smile for when they walk up to that line attendant.]

Excuse me-- I know this is rather presumptuous of me, but my friend and I were wondering if there was somewhere we could go to inquire about the possibility of getting special passes for the rides.

[She turns around, looking for a moment as if she's going to tell them off for even asking... and then she gets a good look at the two of them and changes her mind. Instead, she's all smiles right back, asking them why they want special passes.]

I had thought there might be a special level of access allowed to those who held positions of status in their world. The two of us are royalty from the country of Windor.

[And he gives Isamu a slight nudge with his elbow to indicate that he should show her the ring.]

[Isamu looks like he would much rather be anywhere else, but he sighs and pulls out the ring he has on a cord around his neck.]

What he said.

[ledbythewind]

[The attendant is apologetic but polite as she explains that there are in fact no special passes for anyone other than members of the MSF.]

I see... then forgive me for wasting your time with this. We'll just go get in the line with everyone else.

[He smiles at her, then turns to leave... only to have her clear her throat quietly and mumble something about possibly being able to make an exception for them as long as they didn't say anything...]

You've gotta be shitting me...

[This is mumbled under Isamu's breath as he gives Richard a glance.]

[Oh, is that another gentle elbow that just found its way into Isamu's ribs? The look Richard gives him in return is both pleased and conspiratorial and a clear hint that he shouldn't say anything more for the moment.]

You're far too kind. You have my word that neither one of us will breathe a word of this to anyone else. Isn't that right, Isamu?

[musubi]

[Isamu just nods, afraid that he might say the wrong thing and ruin their chances.]

[ledbythewind]

[The young woman gives a few quick glances around as if trying to ascertain that no one else is watching before beckoning them towards a small side gate and ushering them through it, then shutting it behind them with instructions to just go out to the platform and wait there.

Richard gives her a wave and another nod of thanks.]

Thank you again.

[Then he turns to Isamu with a smile.]

You see? That wasn't any trouble at all.

That was ridiculous.

[He hisses that through his teeth, still not believing that had just happened.]

It certainly was.

[There will be no arguments against that from Richard-- even he can't quite believe they just attempted that, and not only attempted it, they succeeded at it.

But they can laugh (or be horrified) about it later. Right now, there's a ride to go get on!]

Come on, let's go do what she says before someone notices us.

[He's already heading towards the platform as the attendant had instructed.]

[musubi]

Yeah, okay. Right behind you.

[Though he could really use some light filial magic right about now, if only to make himself absolutely invisible.

He just hopes no one else sees.]

[Richard, on the other hand... well, he's at least making something of an attempt to be stealthy, even if his excitement is sort of giving him away.

He's going to try to act casual as he sidles up to the group of people waiting for the ride on the platform and just tries to blend in like he'd been in line the entire time. He then tosses a grin over his shoulder in Isamu's direction as if to say "See? Nothing to worry about."]

[musubi]

[Seriously? Couldn't they just sneak right onto the car? Maybe no one would notice then.

Isamu doesn't look at anyone, not wanting to see how annoyed they are by their butting in.]

We're not doing this again.

[ledbythewind]

We won't have to once we've been on this ride.

[After all, they only pulled this because of that line. Patient as Richard may be, even he wasn't going to wait in that.

But at least the ride seems to be unloading the passengers from the last trip, and... oh. Some of them look more than a little pale...]

You say that now. What happens the next time you want on a ride with a super long line?

[Trying not to look at those other passengers. It can't be that bad.]

I don't recall seeing any other rides with lines quite like this one.

[... oh. Did that one boy just stumble off to a trash can to throw up? Well, perhaps he simply ate too much cotton candy beforehand.]

[Isamu has been on tons of rides before. This will be nothing. Nothing.]

I'm sure there are some in other parts of the park.

Then we can decide if we want to wait in those lines when we get to them.

[It's their turn to get in now, anyway. Richard is not going to let a few sick-looking passengers deter him from this ride!

Okay, maybe more than a few, but who really cares? Maybe they all ate too much beforehand.]

[musubi]

[Isamu follows the blond onto the ride, trying to look along the rails ahead to see what they're in for with little luck. Hopefully they'll at least be strapped in tight.]

You'd better not puke on me afterward.

[ledbythewind]

That goes for you as well.

[He's still feeling pretty confident about this ride, though. After all, he doesn't see how a ride with a line that long could be bad, though the sight of the harnesses that they're about to be strapped into does give him a bit of a pause...]

I have never once thrown up on a ride. I'm not about to start now.

[Buckling himself in defiantly!]
