Who: Everybody!
What: A field trip for the entirety of Luceti!
When: October 27th, until the end of November 2nd
Where: The Happiest Place on the Moon, Malnosso World!
Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

What? You're not chickening out on me now, are you? It's a little late for that.

[Simon slings his arm around Sam's shoulders and drags him closer with a good-natured grin.]

I'm not chickening out! Not much of a choice now.

[He grumbles softly when Simon pulls him close but he doesn't pull away.]

Not unless you feel like going for a swim. I wouldn't advise it, though. [He can't help but chuckle at the expression on Sam's face and it's one that's all-too familiar. The exasperated effort Sam has to put into dealing with him on a daily basis, and Simon rolls his eyes a little.]

Relax, Sammy. It's supposed to be fun. Nothing's going to bite you. Not unless you ask nicely.

Ugh, not a chance. I saw a documentary about stuff like this once. Do you have any idea how filthy the water probably is?

[It makes him shudder at just the thought of it.]

Bet you'd love that.

[Simon blinks, his brain trying to switch gears between what comment applied to which.]

Bet I'd love what?

Biting.

[Sam says it, glancing up at him, a slightly odd look on his face.]

Simon blinks then snickers, leaning a little closer. "I suppose that depends. On whether you're asking me nicely or someone else."

Sam swallows, his mouth gone suddenly rather dry and Simon is very very close. "Do you really care if I ask someone?" he says, voice low and curious. "Would you get jealous, I mean, if I asked someone else, like Five maybe."

Simon gives a quiet snort at that, rolling his eyes at that, although he doesn't move away. "Well, that would be pointless now, wouldn't it? Everyone knows Five's your favorite. I'd never stop being jealous if we're pulling Five into this equation."

"How do you know they are?" he asks and he isn't sure what this odd feeling is. It feels right being here, with Simon so close. "My favourite, I mean."

"Sammy," Simon answers patiently, his lips quirking faintly as he gives Sam a knowing look. "Everyone knows Five's your favorite. You haven't exactly made a secret of it."

"I dunno. You're pretty special," he says, and it feels perfectly natural.

"Careful, Sammy," Simon chuckled, carding his fingers through Sam's hair. It was almost a hair-ruffle but not quite. "That almost sounded like a compliment"

"That feels really nice," Sam said, tongue running out over his lips when Simon began to stroke his hair. It wasn't quite like he was used to either, a bit more intimate than having his hair mussed.

"Two compliments in a row?" Simon teased him, humor in his voice as he tugged Sam closer, nuzzling in against his throat, because he was feeling warm and affectionate and lazily relaxed. "My ego may never recover."

He took a sharp breath when Simon pulled him close, his lips and breath warm against his throat. He made a soft noise of encouragement and slid his hands over Simon's shoulders. "I'm sure we can find a way to puncture it soon enough," he teased gently.

"Sammy, one of these days you're going to learn not to set up terrible terrible puns like that," Simon snickered softly, his arm snaking about Sam's waist and drawing him close. He shivered at the slide of Sam's hands, his eyes sliding shut with a groan. "Although I'll be very very sad when you do."

Sam blinked and then went pink right to the tips of his ears when Simon said that, breath catching for a moment when Simon pulled him close so that he was practically sitting in the other man's lap. "Like you need an excuse."

"Of course I don't, but it's more fun this way." Simon's grin is roguish and he leans in, nuzzling against Sam's throat again, feeling the heat coming off his skin and it makes him chuckle. "You're blushing again, Sammy."

"That- that feels really nice," Sam says, his voice breathless and husky, his eyes gone even darker than usual. He swallowed thickly, everything feeling warm and comfortable in a way that he just wasn't used to.

"Does it?" Simon grins, his tone teasing, breath tickling against his skin when he repeats the motion. "Does that mean you're not gonna shove me overboard then?"

He gives a breathless laugh, ducking his head against Simon's shoulder. "I think I can forgive you," he said, and he wasn't sure what had changed. He'd never really looked at Simon like this before.

"Good," Simon answers with a grin, then leans in and trails kisses along Sam's throat, since he didn't seem to be objecting to it.

He makes a soft noise, a little confused by what's going on, because it seems so sudden, but so natural as well. He drops his head back, encouraging those kisses.
