What: Rin's Birthday

Where: House 15, in the living room
Summary: Shiemi is throwing Rin a birthday party. She's doing most of the setting up, but Rin was kind enough to cook for his own party. We don't want Shiemi killing anyone.
Rating: PG-13 at most I think.


Plants and heat lamps litter the living space of House 15, but they're all decorated in Christmas style. Baubles and shiny tinsel-like garland hand from bushes that range from fruit bearing to thorny. What might be most notable is that Mistletoe can be found almost everywhere. Shiemi saw people kissing under it a couple times, and despite it being a poisonous plant, if people really liked it that much then it should be at the party! The girl collected a lot of it, so people are bound to run into it! Feel free to get your grub on with Rin's homemade dishes, give out some kisses, or brag about the presents you did or did not get the Son of Satan.

[He breathes nervously before trying to hold his breath in; what if it smells? And he looks at her eyes, his heart pounding, trying to put aside all the ways it could go wrong. Just let it happen. And he keeps one hand on her shoulder for support. Finally, he softly presses his lips against hers and kisses.]

[She kisses back briefly - because they both have to kiss for it to work, right? - before pulling away completely. How far she actually gets proves that the mistletoe has been sated, but she's hiding her face and-]

[Lifts it up. Her hands cup her own cheeks. Her face is a bright red, and she's giggling with a large smile.]

Th-that tickled! [Is that what it's like kissing someone with a beard?]

[It's what it's like kissing someone who's whole face is like a beard.

It's over so quickly. But a goofy grin remains painted on Kurt's face as he looks at her. He's not so sure if that constitutes a good kissing review, but her reaction is so adorable that the chuckles along.]

Did it? That was very rude of it.

I hope it wasn't too bad for you.

Not in the least! It was quick, sure, but you... you were really great!

[How does one compliment in this situation.

With a meek smile, he gives a thumbs up.]

[She laughs nervously, and scratches the back of her neck. A habit she picked up from Rin.]

Eh? Ah, th-th-thank you.

Oh, uh, you're welcome! [He says with a scratch at his hair.] That was... [He glances around quickly and nervously.] Yeah! I guess that mistletoe's done with us now, huh?

Y-yes! I should go see if there's anything that needs to be cleaned up.

[wildbluevagner]

[He supportively points a pair of fingers towards her.][Kurt indicates some random far-of corner. And then he stops to warn her.]

But - watch out for the other mistletoes!

[It's like a minefield.]
