Birthday wishes

What: Rin's Birthday
When: Dec. 27th
Where: House 15, in the living room
Summary: Shiemi is throwing Rin a birthday party. She's doing most of the setting up, but Rin was kind enough to cook for his own party. We don't want Shiemi killing anyone.
Rating: PG-13 at most I think.


Plants and heat lamps litter the living space of House 15, but they're all decorated in Christmas style. Baubles and shiny tinsel-like garland hand from bushes that range from fruit bearing to thorny. What might be most notable is that Mistletoe can be found almost everywhere. Shiemi saw people kissing under it a couple times, and despite it being a poisonous plant, if people really liked it that much then it should be at the party! The girl collected a lot of it, so people are bound to run into it! Feel free to get your grub on with Rin's homemade dishes, give out some kisses, or brag about the presents you did or did not get the Son of Satan.

Yeah... but he tends to threaten people if we're not doing a well enough job.

[Although it's mostly her. She stopped dancing for a moment to do her best imitation of Mr. Cat.]

'Ms. Duck, I will have you MARRYY MEEE!'

[And going back to normal.]

Or something like that... It's a little weird....

[ W.....what..... That makes him trip up in the dance and then he falters a moment before ]

[ He bursts out laughing! ]

Oh come on, cats don't get married! [AHAHAHA] That's great!

[After seeing his reaction, she starting to laugh along with him.]

Unfortunately, Mr. Cat is pretty obsessed with all things marriage, although no one really goes through it. It's still kind of become the motivation to do better in class.

[He has his quirks, but in the end, Duck does sort of miss him.]

Ehehehe, I bet... [ And he closes his eyes, getting lost in thought with the idea of Kuro wanting to marry someone. That's just ridiculous...]

[And so she starts to dance again, giggling a little.]

I dance much better as Princess Tutu than I do as Duck.

Well that's probably 'cus you're a Princess like this, right?

[ It breaks him out of his reverie to try to focus again if she's dancing again. He wonders if anyone is noticing that he's missing. Dancing by themselves in a far corner of the house... he almost expects someone to come in. Maybe someone a little annoying like Cross or Skarmy ]

[ - WAIT A SECOND, PRINCESS? Another princess?! Why does he keep having these sorts of moments with princess?! He is so surprised by his revelation he ends up stepping on his own other foot, due to not being careful.

Ow. he even makes a noise of ow ]

Yeah, that's probably why.

[Oh yeah. She hasn't even thought of that. Although, if somebody did come in, she wouldn't particularly care? If anything, she could just excuse herself to change back.

Seeing him step on his own foot, she stopped for a moment.]

Are you okay?

[rashness]

Y-yeah, I'm fine.

[ At least he's almost forgot that it's his birthday and Yukio isn't here. Honestly, he's too busy focused on the weirdness of his immediate situation, and he looks more embarrassed than anything to have made that blinder ]

'M no good at dancing, huh?

[clumsyduck]

[Ahahahaha! The weirdness does sort of take over. Smiling to his comment.]

That's okay. You're still better than I normally am.

Aw c'mon, that can't be true. I've barely done it.

[clumsyduck]

[Shrugging to that.]

That's okay. I'm just me. I'll get better. Still, dancing is not about skill. It was about having fun and expressing yourself.

[ ... Wait that was probably too on the nose ]

Of course. When I feel sad, I can clear my mind when I dance. It makes me feel a little better.

[rashness]

Wow, I never thought you could dance things like that...

[clumsyduck]

Of course. Just like art is an expression of who you are, so is dancing. I may be a duck, but I'm so happy to have been able to live the way I have as a girl and learn about dancing.

[rashness]

[ Wow art... How artful ]

'M glad you're a girl too.

[clumsyduck]

[Slight laugh there.]

It's given me a chance to really experience a new life.

[rashness]

Yeah... yeah, I bet.

[ ... ]

I don't know what being a duck's like, after all.

[clumsyduck]

[Realizing how long she'd kept him.]

Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to keep you from your party!

[But she's really enjoying her time talking and dancing with him.]

[ ...! Oh! Uh-- ] No, it's fine! I mean, it's fine! Great to uh- get to know you!
