[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

Lots of practice, honestly. Someone taught me the basic moves and once I had those down, it was easy figuring out other tricks.

So-- you don't use telekinesis or-- anything like that? ... That's incredible! ... How long have you been practicing?

Hard to say, honestly. A few years I'd say. Actual bartending without the tricks, fifteen years on and off.

[Mostly off, but meeting other hunters, traveling around and blending in, it helped keeping her drink mixing skills sharp.]

Wow... a few years. No wonder you're so good. [Wanda is in awe.]

[Ginia gives a soft chuff, a little unaccustomed to accepting genuine compliments. Her head bows.]

My family ran a bar so I started learning young.

[Some people learned how to fight and kill as a child, she learned how to mix drinks and play piano.]

[Yup. Wanda's in that first category, she got to learn power control, and anti-human dogma. Yaaay?]

That must have been fun. ... Did you ever-- drop anything?

[Ginia grins and nods.]

All the time. Plates, glasses, trays, you overload a tray, stumble or someone bumps into you, everything goes down. When I began learning flair bartending, I learned on plastic cups.

Ohh... that's smart. I never would have thought of that. [Dropping things would have never been accepted, in her family, either, so.] Well... I'm glad you're working here. With that sort of... skill set.

I'm glad to be here. [It's nice tapping into a skill set that isn't fighting. The music is good too.]

Was this building already here or was it built? Everything about it is great. Modern, but classy and sexy.

We had it built. Or-- Kate did. She took care of most of the hard things... finding people to build the building, get it... wired and stuff. I did the actual decorating, but she helped chose the look of things. ... Kate's smart. Really good at everything. I'm just heavy lifting and support, really.

[Ginia takes a look around as Wanda talks, whistling. That this was a community effort is pretty impressive; it wouldn't look out of place in New York or Los Angeles.]

I think all of you did a great job. It's a great addition to the village.

I hope people like it... I hope it stays this busy, though-- I'll understand if it doesn't. ... I'll certainly be here every night, though.

I can commit to three nights a week, maybe four, for several hours. [Between the Welcome Center and training commitments, she knows she has a bit of schedule juggling to do.]

Whenever you can come in. Schedules are petty flexible around here. ... In Luceti, I mean. ... We're all trying to fill our time, but there's no real-- punishment for skipping out, other than ... how it effects other people. Right?

[Ginia nods in agreement. It's one reason she doesn't mind putting in more hours; it'll keep her busy and the music is good.]

I like to be reliable, and I like keeping to a regular schedule. Makes staying organized earlier.

Oh--! Well, I was just resting my feet, when I saw your show... but sure, why not? ... What do you have that's red? [Yes, Wanda orders her drinks by colour. Why?]

Which do you like more; cranberries or strawberries?

[Her eyes go big.]

Oh... man. ... That's a hard one. ... Straw... berries. I think.

[Strawberries it is. Ginia walks to the fridge and pulls out a small carton of strawberries. She rinses and dries them off a handful of them before throwing them into a metal container and crushing them with a muddler. Ginia then pours in vodka and Crème de Cassis, adds ice, and puts another container on top and shakes it all together. She strains everything into a martini glass, and takes another strawberry, slices it in half and notches the tip and slips it on the glass as a garnish.

There, a strawberry martini. Ginia places it on a napkin and puts it in front of Wanda. Enjoy.]

[Wanda watches all this, enraptured once again.]

Did you-- just make that up? That looks amazing...! [She takes a sip.] That is amazing...!

[Ginia takes a moment to tidy up her area and wipe the counter and her hands off. She smiles at the compliment and bows her head.]

Thank you. No, I didn't make it up, I learned it from another bartender years ago.

... I don't know how anyone keeps all that information in their heads... Then again, I guess I've just filled my head with hexes, instead of other things. ... We all have our talents. ... you're even clean. Amazing. [As the janitor, Wanda definitely appreciates that.]
