[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

[Lee frowns, confused, while maintaining his support of Adela.]

What are we to do?

[An irritated sigh as he thinks through their options.]

Either we wait here until she blows chunks, or we try to get her to a toilet or sink or something and risk not making it in time. [And then they'll be stuck cleaning up after her. He'd really rather not.]

Or you can start praying to Santa or whoever that she keeps it all down. Unless that's not his area of miracle-working.

[They don't have to wait. As much as she tries, she can't hold it in anymore and she ends up vomiting, the hand that was being held over her mouth instead holding her hair away from her mouth. She's breathing hard by the time she's done, shaking from it and looking away.]

[Then, it happens. Possibly making contact with Lee's boots. He looks on in horror and makes some sort of a high-pitched noise.]

[...Looks like she decided for them. Gross. At least his shoes are spared.

He kicks some snow over the mess, to spare innocent passers-by from having to look at it in the morning. Then he stoops down to scoop up a handful of clean snow, offering it to Adela.]

Here, to clean your face up.

[It takes her a second to grab the snow from Jean, shivering as she rubs it over her face and coughing a couple of times. Nothing comes out after that though, and she just hangs her head to try and hide her face more.]

... Sorry... Y'ad to see tha'...

[Lee takes a moment to regain his composure, and he rubs his boots briefly in the snow.]

It is alright. That is just the kind of thing that alcohol does. We should... get you back to your room, on the double! [And now to walk her towards the front door?]

Trust me, I've seen worse.

[At Lee's suggestion, he nods firmly, leaving Adela to him while he moves ahead to grab the door.]

[She groans faintly, blinking a bit as one of the supports is gone and she suddenly feels lop-sided. Still, she's not heaving anymore, just... Confused. And still feeling a little sick.]

[Lee just re-steadies his grip to guide her througj the open door.]

I have also seen more disgusting sights! Right thus way, Adela-san...

[And he follows them inside, keeping a watchful eye on Adela. What a shitshow...]

I'm not even letting you try the stairs. [He's ducking around them to push the elevator button.]

No'... No' 'elpful. [The words are muttered as she just leans on Lee, taking small steps and struggling to keep up even with an easy walking pace by that point.]

[He notes her trouble as they await the elevator.]

Adela-san... Perhaps this would be better if I carried you.

[...Yeah. She doesn't look like she can walk much farther. And he had already decided that she's incapable of making her own decisions right now, so he nods.]

This guy's making a lot of sense for once.

I can walk, really...

But doesn't this feel more comfortable?

[He says as he moves to scoop her off her feet, to carry her bridal style.]

[Good work, Lee.

And look, the elevator is here; the doors are sliding open. Jean gets on.]

Wha' -- put me down! I can walk jus' fine!

[Ack! Being picked up like that is a surprise, and suddenly she feels tiny and she's not standing anymore and she does not like this.]

[She is very tiny and easy to carry. So Lee smiles as he strolls straight into the elevator like that.]

Do not worry! This way is working much better.

[He's only been in an elevator once or twice before - living on just the second floor of his building, he favors the stairs. But let's see...you have to press one of these buttons... --Oh, right.]

What level are we going to? [Directed at Lee, but his gaze flicks to Adela next.]

If you didn't want to get carried around like that, you shouldn't have been inhaling beer like it's air.

[Except even she knows she was, and she knows it was stupid, but there's still a part of her that doesn't want to admit to said stupidity. Not yet.]

Our destination is... I believe it is the fourth floor!

[He frowns at the redheaded bundle in his arms.]

Adela-san, that sounds like a highly unusual and dangerous method of drinking.

[wipesfaith]

Uh-huh, sure you weren't.

[He presses the 4 button, and after a pause they start going up. Caught off guard by the upward pull, he staggers a bit to one side but quickly corrects himself.]

I was no', you can no' in'ale anythin'.

[Still squirming, still not liking being carried, Lee why.]

[Oh, such tiny squirming. Lee simply stands still as the elevator ascends. He's used to it by now.]

It still sounds like you should be more careful with such endeavors. While we're on the subject... I should warn you both to never allow me near alcohol.
