I do, dear. [And there's the salad and some freshly baked rolls too to go with it, now all being carried by Yuuna.]

And it was delicious. [She gleefully goes back out to the dining room, setting the rest of the food down.] You'll never guess why. I bet you won't!

[She's already wracking her brain, trying to think of why...]

Is it...it's not your birthday. Is it the day we first went on a train?

No, guess again. It doesn't have anything to do with anything we did.

[She figures she can give a clue, sitting down at the table now herself.]

[Saori floats over and settles into a chair herself, then.]

Is it a holiday in your prefecture?

Wrong again! [Dishing herself some salad, she slides it over to Saori before grabbing some bread.] It's a lot more simple than that. You don't need to over think it.

Because...it's the end of the month?

[She sounds a bit hopeful as she grabs some salad too.]

I don't think you'll be able to guess. [She happily starts in on her own salad.]

It's just because I wanted to, I think that's special enough. Being a little spontaneous is more fun than planning everything out all the time.

Just because you want to...

[Saori nods and starts to eat as well.]

Alright, I can get behind that.

Sure. And afterwards, I figured we can have a bit of fun.

[She picks up her little sake glass, and sips from it.]

Would you want to? I haven't gotten to really enjoy myself like that since I got here.

[Saori's eyebrow climbs. Yuuna...and alcohol was always amusing, and sometimes messy. But...]

Sure. We could. Would you want to drink here, or at the bar?

I want to take what we've got here and go to the rec center. I heard they have games there.

[Screw the bar, she just wants to spend time with Saori. And play games.]

Oh! Yes, they do! One of those...video games. Pao-Lin showed me how they work once.

[She nods sagely. Pao-Lin had taught her how to play something called Boulevard Brawler. That'd been interesting.]

That we can certainly do.

Oh, you got to try them already? Good, did you like it?

[She thought she was going to have to introduce them to her, but hell, if that's been taken care of, all the better!]

Let's finish our meal, grab as much sake as we can and head over, it'll be really fun.

I liked the game we played, yes. It was some sort of martial arts game...but there were only 2 dimensions. I...want to say it was called Boulevard Brawler.

[Saori nods sagely, and begins to eat quickly.]

And yes, that sounds lovely. There were a lot of games there...

[Yuuna will see Saori her speed and will raise her quantity of food eaten.]

I've never heard of that one. But we can try a more 3D one, see if you like that. Do you want to play a racing game?

A racing game?

[That sounds exciting!]

With cars? Will...you let me drive them?

It's not a real car. You'll get to drive this one on the TV screen. But, we could always go try letting you drive a car in the Battle Dome one day, the simulations are just as good as the real thing, especially for you, Saori-chan.

[Saori rolls her eyes.]

I know that. I'm a delivery driver too, you know. But you never let me drive when it's just us. Even if you're bad at it.

[She laughs, enjoying teasing her. She sounded so excited about driving though. It was just asking to be said.]

You got to drive all the time, I just wanted my own turn to drive for you! And I'm not that bad!

[Saori tweaks her beloved's nose and shakes her head.]

How many accidents have you had, now?

Hey, not that many! [A lot.]

I can't get better unless I practice.

Well, maybe that's something best done in an open field. Where there's nobody around to run over.

[Saori's enjoying picking at her, but she's going to put on her coat so they can go out.]

[She gets up to grab her coat too, sticking her tongue out at Saori.]

I can't earn any points if I drive in a field, do you know how many points old grannies with walkers account for?

It's a stupid game, just something to joke about. If you hit someone walking down the street, you get a certain amount of points depending on who or what they are. It's not serious, and no one actually plays it.
