Really? Charizard is a flying type so he's actually weak against Pikachu's electric attacks!

[ Charizard huffs when he hears Ash say that. ]

I dunno who would win though; both of 'em are two of my strongest Pokemon!

Your Charizard doesn't seem to think so. [He saw that huff. My, he can relate to that pride.]

Besides, I was told long ago that even type disadvantages can be dealt with. I bet Charizard would make fast work of that little runt there.

[ Ash smiles at Charizard ] Well he hasn't lost many battles, right Charizard! So a battle between Pikachu and Charizard might be really close!

But yeah, that's right! That's why I'm trainin' Snivy to be better at fighting fire types! She's a grass type so she's weak to both of Charizard's types.

Well that's 'cause Pokemon can be strong even if they're small! Like Pikachu and Snivy!

[ Both Pikachu and Snivy agree with this though Snivy's response is so much more sassier's than Pikachu's. ]
