[Albel cut himself off, staring at Fayt's neck as mortification slowly worked its way onto his face. Oh... oh...]

[He wanted to be mortified right now, he really did. But on one hand... he felt a little proud.]

You what?! [His hand goes up to his neck automatically, and it might be the incoming darkness of dusk, but he looks rather pale at the realization. Really, getting a hickey from Albel the Wicked wasn't exactly something you thought would happen in any sort of sane reality. A sword through the gut was more likely.]

[Albel's face was pretty red at his screaming, finally settling on embarrassed.]

H-how should I know, maggot!? You were the one teasing me!

Well.. that was... [...He'd been flirting with Albel. Even more horrifying was the fact that it had worked.]

You're the one who's been acting all freaky!

[Albel hesitated, almost forgetting to keep himself afloat.]

L-let's just get out of the water, fool!

Works for me...! [And... yes, he is ducking under the water to swim back to shore. Someone might be feeling just a bit awkward.

[Albel fumbled after him; now that the pride at having marked in Fayt in a... less psychotic way had worn off, he really wanted to curl up in a corner and die now.]

[He pulled himself out of the water, shaking and cold, and looking a lot like a drowned rat.]

[Fayt pulls himself out of the water more quickly, shivering a bit himself as he does. It's even colder out of the water than in it, after all.

But now that they're both at the shore, what are they even supposed to say?]

Find something to dry off with.
