[He cants his head in a sort of easy shrug, chuckling through his nose.]

You would be most surprised at what feats humans are capable of. [A smirk curves his thin lips.

Well I've got to admit I've been guilty of it on a pretty bad scale myself. [Getting lost in space was a feat in itself, after all.]

But I don't think humans are the only ones who do that, either. Aren't we all sort of lost here?

[As he considers the time he has spent locked away in this dungeon of sorts and denied rest, it's tired that comes to mind, not lost. Or at least, not lost in the physical sense of the word. Though this he's not inclined to share with others; he has rarely thought to try putting the ever-deepening sense of emptiness within him into words, even just for himself.

Folding his arms across his chest, he gazes back flatly at the answer.]

Please. Should I be made to roll my eyes any harder this afternoon, they shall be rolling their way out of my skull.

Guess that's not how you'd put it, huh? [Fayt crosses his arms, tilting his head a little curiously. On a wider scale of things, they were all lost, in Fayt's opinion... though perhaps displaced was a better word for it.]

How perceptive of you. [He drawls, smiling blandly in a way that suggests a complete disinclination towards explaining himself.] But you have not approached me merely to discuss my choice of words, now have you?

[It's only a guess because as far as he's concerned, no one comes to him unless there's a favour to ask usually in the form of a commission. Not to discount the possibility of an attempt at attack, of course.]

[Huh, banter's not on his mind at all then, is it? So that would mean..... Fayt raises a brow, his tone turning a little teasing as he does.] Shouldn't I be asking you something similar? I saw you looking my way earlier.
