School Log!

Who: OPEN! Anyone! Teachers, Students, anyone dropping in for the open classes, anyone at the battledome (from about 1-3 pm), newcomers with questions, etc!
What: Catchall school days
When: March! (You can vary the dates if you'd like, if you want something from last week or on the 17th and onward, it's fairly open there.)
(Classes run from 9 AM-roughly 2:30 PM, and the log can include before and after-school activities)
Where: School / Battle Dome
Summary: It's been a quiet few weeks in Luceti, but school is still in session!
Rating: A+



[For some sense of guidelines:

- Anyone joining for the first time is allowed to poke around and ask questions and (possibly) take or have handwaved taking a test so they can join in immediately!

- The playground is open for after school or lunch break interactions. The cafeteria is also open. Also, random classrooms are available for students wanting to use it for private tutoring/study hall sessions/club meetings whatnot.

- World Sharing and Magic lessons are held at the battle dome, so non-attendees can observe if they like.

- You're not limited to the headers! Just do what you want--these are just some suggestions as to what's going on, but they aren't the be-all-and-end-all of what can be played with! Chat with each other, set up things! It's meant to be for CR!]

Why are you thinking about her all of a sudden? Don't tell me you feel something new. [No, he'll take that as a command.] I mean, tell me, Mytho. Do you?

Right now... I don't feel any emotions that are particularly new. [It's true that he hasn't gained any heart shards since the desire for knowledge some months back, which led to him being more attentive around the school.

But he omits mentioning the Valentines shift. During that week... his heart could love again.

At the moment, he keeps his eyes closed.]

That's why I'm thinking about her. That's why I want to seek her. My heart... It needs to be completed.

[She leaves out Valentine's week too and it's convenient for everybody involved. Absolutely.]

...What if you can't complete your heart, Mytho?

[Somewhere out there in this world there is Love. And Love will destroy him. She can't let that happen.]

In that case... then all of Tutu's work would be in vein.

I'd never be the prince again. And I'll never be able to truly feel love.

[It feels like there's heat rushing through his veins, aching to feel that emotion again. To clutch it with its talons again.]

[He speaks of things she tries so hard not to mention around him, sometimes not to think around him.]

Do you want to be the prince again? Isn't it easier to just be the way we already are?

Easier? I don't know what's easier or more difficult. I'd like to be... my whole self again.

And wouldn't you... [His eyes still closed, he winces slightly.] Wouldn't you want to be loved, Rue?

[The school lunchroom isn't really the place for this. She forgets all of that as soon as she sees him flinch.]

Of course. I want...I've always wanted you to love me. But when I tried- when I-

[Suddenly it's very hard to say anything at all.]

It just wasn't how the story is meant to go.

[Hearing her speak like that, it strikes him. And he opens his eyes as the shades of purple flames fade away for the moment, before he looks at Rue.]

Rue... [Sorrow drips through his words.]

I'm sorry. I don't think that I... that myself or the prince... [Regret.] want your story to end in such a way.

[Rue's ignoring what she heard upon arrival, too, that the story has a happy ending and Mytho saves her and- well how could that really be true, the last time she saw him outside of this strange world he was a crow himself! She does not think Mytho gets a say in how her story ends.]

I just wanted you to be with me. To be...away from the Raven, and happy with you instead.

[She isn't hearing him right - maybe because she's afraid to.]

I don't see anything particularly wrong with that at all, Rue. [He speaks softly as he reaches for her hand.]

[His hand finds hers and she lets him take it, looking down at the table instead of at him. Here she was, worried about him and the way he's been acting, and she can't even do that right!]
