Who: OPEN! Anyone! Teachers, Students, anyone dropping in for the open classes, anyone at the battledome (from about 1-3 pm), newcomers with questions, etc!
What: Catchall school days
When: March! (You can vary the dates if you'd like, if you want something from last week or on the 17th and onward, it's fairly open there.)
(Classes run from 9 AM-roughly 2:30 PM, and the log can include before and after-school activities)
Where: School / Battle Dome
Summary: It's been a quiet few weeks in Luceti, but school is still in session!

[For some sense of guidelines:

- Anyone joining for the first time is allowed to poke around and ask questions and (possibly) take or have handwaved taking a test so they can join in immediately!

- The playground is open for after school or lunch break interactions. The cafeteria is also open. Also, random classrooms are available for students wanting to use it for private tutoring/study hall sessions/club meetings whatnot.

- World Sharing and Magic lessons are held at the battle dome, so non-attendees can observe if they like.

- You're not limited to the headers! Just do what you want--these are just some suggestions as to what's going on, but they aren't the be-all-and-end-all of what can be played with! Chat with each other, set up things! It's meant to be for CR!]

[The look of guilt that crosses Luke's face might as well have cement shoes, because he can't make it run back off again.]

Not when it isn't a whole lot.

[Oh no no no, that look won't do at all, Luke. Goodness, this class is supposed to be fun.]

Now, what would make you say something like that, hmm?

[It's pretty impossible for him to refuse to answer an authority figure too.]

Uhm...well, it's...just...I haven't practiced that much lately.

All the more reason for you to practice harder, then!

[Still not seeing the problem here.]

I'll sound awful in front of everybody like this.

[Giving the wrong hints all over the place, Luke.]

Nonsense. You don't sound awful to me at all.

You'll just say that sort of thing so I end up playing.

I think I would notice if you really sounded that bad.

[No, no, Luke's gone full-blown pout and he's fiddling with the end of his bow and just sort of plucking at a string absently.]

Luke?

[Aww, no, he didn't mean to make you sad. :( Don't look like that, man.]

[After a moment more of fidgeting, Luke tucks his violin under his chin where it belongs, raises his bow, and starts to play. And it sounds good. It's simpler, something he learned when he was younger, and he mastered it then so it stands out now.]

[And Jack will just remain quiet and listen until Luke is done, just enjoying the melody. As he thought, the boy plays quite well, much better than he was giving himself credit for just a few moments ago.

Just as he'd suspected.]

[Doing something you know you can do well on purpose is different from practicing. He just didn't want Jack getting the better of him.

Luke puts his bow down when he's done and tries really hard not to look smug.]

[He'll be greeted with a round of enthusiastic applause either way once he finishes. There's no doubt there as to whether or not Jack was impressed by that performance.]

Marvelous! You see? You did just fine. All of that worrying was for nothing at all.

That wasn't-

[It is not worth arguing with Jack. It's not. Luke will learn someday.]

Hmm? Were you going to say something?

[Good idea, Luke. Arguing with Jack goes nowhere very fast when he isn't being serious, which is most of the time.]

There isn't really a point if I do, is there?

That all depends on what you were going to say.

Nope. [Luke crosses his arms and shakes his head.] That's another puzzle for a different day.

One I have to solve before I can get the answer, I assume?

Not if you don't want to. I just don't think I'm going to win an argument with you about music.

That all depends on what that argument is. I certainly don't pretend to know everything there is to know about music. Besides, there are differences in musical styles across worlds, so something that is true in my world might not be so in yours.

It's just...that I learned that song a long time ago.

Ah... so it's one you know so well that it's like a part of you, in other words.
