Slow but steady, here is the second log for the event. As before, feel free to have your characters post their own entries if you'd rather do that. Here is the first log as well.

[Hot, hot, HOT— fortunately, the fireball is knocked offcourse just before it could singe the terrified pastry, by a cluster of flames arranged in the shape of 大, "large," courtesy of Chili's Pokemon Pansear who was keeping watch from above.] YEEEEOWCH, FOUL, FOUL, I call foul!! You want a battle, ask for one, and battle Pansear, not me! [So the nefarious pastry is aided by a red, firebending monkey!]

[At least Chili's sugar will be deliciously caramelized now.]

I should have known it had an accomplice!

[They will never take him alive! Or dead! Thus, with another punch, a blast of flame is shot towards Pansear!]

[Oh, good, so now he's even more tantalizing. Thanks, Zuko.]

Pansear, dodge and Fire Punch!

[Pansear hops down from the place he was sitting to swivel out of the way of the fire, touch onto the ground, then jump towards Zuko with fists blazing.]

[Zuko is now dodging flaming monkeys? Why yes he is... And he leaps to the side to do just that, just before retaliating with a flaming kick! He will not go down easily! Especially to a pastry and his primate!]

DODGE IT! Get up high and use Fire Blast!

[Might be a bit slow to dodge and take the brunt of the attack, but he'll still start gathering up fire in his mouth before he tries to get back up. Make another move?]

[lordhotman]

[Fortunately for him, Zuko doesn't have to charge up his attacks. Thus he whirls around for another strike. A streaming blast of fire coming from his palm.]

[Pansear was only just about to release the fire it had gathered up when the blast came. He tried to duck out of the way, but it still singed his back. It sounded like it hurt, from the pained sound Pansear made.]

Pansear, are you alright?! Ugh, I can't do anything like this... [Chili feels sorry for Pansear getting caught up in this weird, pointless fight, but it doesn't look like Zuko
can be reasoned with. Maybe creating a confusion and escaping is their only option.] Pansear, get down, dig!

[If Pansear hides under ground, it should be able to avoid more of the fire!]

[He's seen this before... when Cilan's Pansage did it. He's not going to let this Pokemon sneak up and destroy him! He's gotta kill it before it kills him! Thus Zuko runs over to the hole and bends another stream of fire right into it!]

[Fortunately, while down there, he could dig holes under the tunnels to hide, the fire can't bend too much out of the way to catch up and smoke rises.

But it does get hard to breathe, so where he's hidden will be given away by the coughing underground.]

Hang in there!

[When it doesn't seem to work, he tries again. Knowing that the flaming death monkey will have to come out eventually.]

Whenever you're ready...!

[Timing the attack to when Zuko releases the stream of fire, Pansear pokes his head out of an entirely different hole to quickly gather up sunlight. Not enough to make a big blast that causes actual damage, but just enough so that he can shoot a blinding beam of light to disorient long enough to make an escape with his pastry trainer.

... at least, that's the plan! How does it go, suspicious one?]

[And it goes just as intended.]

Agh!

[The light catches him by surprise and he raises his arms to shield his eyes from it. Though not before it dazes him, giving them the perfect opportunity to escape.]

[It'll be awkward if he ever sees Pansear again after this event. xD]

[chilibites]

[Aaaand they're off! Pansear runs away with his trainer, who can't help but jeer at Zuko once they're a good distance away.]

[He stands there rubbing his eyes for several moments, but once he can see clearly again they're already gone. Good! He has evaded death yet again.]
