[Law brushes Itachi's fingers with his own. Even if most of their intimacies were strictly out of bounds until things returned to normal, there could still be this.]

You're welcome. [It's funny how much the flesh mirrors the person inside. Nothing had changed about Sasuke's body, but Itachi had transformed the teen's features into something new.]

Were you at the shrine earlier?

[Law might have been Haki tracking both brothers when they were out of his sight. And Mikoto. ... experiments were uncertain times after all.]

[He isn't at all surprised that Law is aware of this.]

... I counted each individual crow, just out of curiosity. It's very peaceful there.

[Out of all the places in Luceti, it's the one that reminds him most of home.]

[That causes him to smile.]

Not surprised. I think it's your favorite spot here.

How many did you find? [There's a lot of crows down there. It's just idle chatter as he cleans up his mess.] As I recall, they're getting some raven company from the mountains lately.

It's a large gathering, but not unmanageable. I don't actually have an exact number, as they didn't all remain still.

I got to about 312 that I didn't believe had moved positions, though from that point I had to estimate. Depending on the season I would say there could be a good hundred more than that.

[It had been a quick count at first, the Sharingan doing a lot of the work.]

[Law chuckles, finally gathering up all of his assembled supplies and unrolling a scroll to put them away in. Getting things out of scrolls had become easy - sealing them in is a little more difficult, and therefore a good source of practice.

That and most of their fairly meagre possessions had ended up in scrolls anyway. Ninja husbands encouraging that practice and all.]

A few hundred, huh? I hope they aren't terribly hungry this time of year. Otherwise we might get swarmed when we picnic down there when this is over.

[Yes, picnics are suddenly a thing. Just because Itachi would like that.]

Crows have been known to group in the thousands. They should give us our space, though.

[He looks pleased at the thought of a picnic. It's a pleasant idea, and he makes sure Law is aware of this by a squeeze of his hand.]

You've been keeping track of me.

[deathsdoctor]

... heh. They're not seagulls, yeah.

[Squeezing back. Yeah, he thought that would appeal to you.]

Mmmmhmm. [Admitting it. It's obvious that he had been doing that.] ... a bit of Kenbunshoku Haki occasionally, yeah.

In this instance, I am grateful.

[One never knew when the next shift might happen. From what he's seen, it hasn't been an equal amount of time between them for everyone.

It's a good idea most of the time, to be realistic, but Itachi has always been a private person.]

... sorry anyway.

[... because he tends to poke around with Haki when he needs a quick idea of where the other's at regardless, and well... maybe he needs to do that less.]

That's not necessary.

[Another small smile, and he reaches up to fluff the back of Law's hair.]

Hmn. [A smile as he leans against him. That's all he's going to say on that. Law's going take a few minutes just to enjoy Itachi's proximity. Finally:]

Any places on the Line you want to see in particular?

[Because he's definitely going to show him places like Sabaody, but he's mentioned a few places over the years.]

I'm not sure I know enough about the Line to say...

[A thoughtful look as he tries to think back on places Law has described before.]

Whatever you think might appeal to me the most, I suppose.

[deathsdoctor]

Ennies Lobby. Never been there myself, but... [He remembers when they had been talking and Itachi had been flat out baffled when he had described it.] I'll see if it can be recreated.

Marineford. Mariejois. Sabaody. Fishman Island. Maybe a Sky Island if there's records about. Water Seven might be interesting to you too.

[He regrets his own journey didn't take him past it.]

... Yes, any of those. I'm curious to see them.

[So much of Law's world sounds different and unique - at least not the sort of sights he's used to, and his world has some pretty unique sights of its own.]

I think I'm going to try for all of them.

[They can hog a chamber for the day. Most people would be too wrapped up in the experiment to want to frequent the Dome as much as it's usually used.]

[hishatred]

All of them?

[He can't help the pleased smile that follows.]

It will be a busy day, then.

Fun too. [When Law isn't feeling homesick... but Itachi's happiness in seeing the Line should more than help with that. The scroll is whisked away thanks to the power of the Ope Ope no Mi.] Shall we?

[A small look of surprise at that. But then, they didn't know how long this would last for.]

Aa... [... a dawning expression of sheepishness. He's doing that spur of the moment thing again.

Then he chases away the rare bashfulness. Committed now.

Getting up.]

... yeah... want to make sure we get a room...

[He stands, gently brushing off Sasuke's clothing (have to take extra good care of it, after all), and smiles again.]

I had an open afternoon anyway.

[Might as well see what there is to be seen.]

[deathsdoctor]

Good.

[A occurring thought.]

... already got everything you want planted?

[There was the outdoor garden and the greenhouse and Law thinks Itachi's being more ambitious this year with his gardening.]

Mm?

[A curious blink.]

Ah... yes. For now. It's not yet time to harvest or replant.

[He tilts his head.]

Was there something you were thinking I should add?

... ah no. Just curious. It looks like you've got a lot more going on this year.

Well there's more room for it all now, thanks to you.

[A grateful smile at that.]
