spice is the variety of death...? idek

Who: Everyone who wants to be here! ...Again!
What: Total Recall 2014, Part 2
When: The second week of the event, roughly April 17th-22nd. As in the last log, the start date is flexible. The end date less so.
Where: All over blah blah blah
Summary: More chaos, more madness, everyone is just so done with this nonsense gosh

Slow but steady, here is the second log for the event. As before, feel free to have your characters post their own entries if you'd rather do that. Here is the first log as well.

/Does a bird love the sky?/

[A grin at the joke. Ginia knew well there were two - four really, but Ginia ignored the comments about her attractive looks and her well-to-do upbringing - things about her often talked about; the fact she couldn't talk and her unique way of fighting. It was an idea that came to her as she watched a hawk hunt a rabbit during an expedition. Swinging up high, diving down fast and striking hard, a tactic that worked well for stunning Titans or cutting deep into limbs while someone else picked up the kill.

But as much as she loved the sun and sky, it's true she might have passed the rest of the day away. It was astounding the kind of information available to everyone at no cost, things that were considered common knowledge across worlds but close kept secrets in theirs. Even little things, like the variety of animals in the world (there were animals as large as Titans that lived in the sea who ate nothing but plant matter) or how beautiful the world could be, excited her and made her happy.

But there was plenty of time to read. Even if there were no Titans around, Ginia knew she had to keep her skills sharp. Ginia stood and gave a long stretch, back cracking from the long held position. She put some books into a cloth bag and slung it over her shoulder.]

/What kind of training are you in the mood for?/

[ Continuing to train is essential, even without the Titans present. But with how unpredictable Luceti can be, it isn't a far stretch to imagine that Titans could appear here somehow. Erwin would rather himself and his men not be rusty when that time comes. In the meantime, there are other enemies on hand. The Malnosso, the Third Party, potentially even other residents. There is no one on their side he can trust completely, no one to count on but themselves.

When Ginia stands Erwin puts a hand on her back between her shoulder blades, a natural and familiar gesture, as he leads the way toward the front of the library. ]

/3DMG. No Titans./

[ There are some days when he simply can't bring himself to look at them voluntarily. Today is too nice a day to ruin by spending hours staring into their soulless leering faces. ]

[A familiar and friendly gesture, but still one that makes her stand a little straighter. Not just because of the military, but the years of being groomed to be a proper lady, someone to be married off to someone that didn't mind a silent, pretty wife on his arm.

Sometimes Ginia still wonders where her life would be if she hadn't decided to defy her family and join the military. Safe behind the walls, no doubt. Maybe even living inside Wall Sina, attending parties, tending a home. A life she once wanted but not anymore.

It's cloudy when they step out, but still nice. Ginia blinks a few times as her eyes adjust from the dark library to the brighter outdoors. She takes a deep breath, smelling the the forest, the clean air, the earthiness of the ground. It's a beautiful, peaceful place even with the invisible walls surrounding them and the threat of the Malnosso around them. But it's beautiful and peaceful and this is her home now until everything comes to an end.

And yet, given the opportunity, she'd still return to her world, face Titans again if it meant humanity could live in a world as peaceful as this.]

/...I don't regret anything, so we're clear. I lived, I served, I died. No regrets there./

[Ginia pauses as her smile turns playful.]

/I suppose my only regret is not being able to marry you once the Titans are defeated./
