spice is the variety of death...? idek
Who: Everyone who wants to be here! ...Again!
What: Total Recall 2014, Part 2
When: The second week of the event, roughly April 17th-22nd. As in the last log, the start date is flexible. The end date less so.
Where: All over blah blah blah
Summary: More chaos, more madness, everyone is just so done with this nonsense gosh
Rating: Varied. Anything too high-rated goes to appointments!
Slow but steady, here is the second log for the event. As before, feel free to have your characters post their own entries if you'd rather do that. Here is the first log as well.

[If Loki were to go digging, Billy actually isn't lying. Not telling the whole truth either, but omitting information isn't lying, really.]
Re: 19th
Then how would he know about us? [But it's not going to stop him from asking questions when his bullshit detector is going off.]
19th
[With Nate, either (or both) would be totally possible.]
Re: 19th
19th
No idea. If he shows up here, though, I'll ask him.
Re: 19th
Ah well. At any rate, this has all been off the topic. As I said, Terrans once thought the native abilities of my people were effectively magic.
19th
Fair enough. But what if someone's native ability is magic?

[He's never really thought about putting a real, cemented definition for what he does, or what people with similar abilities can do. The whole point of magic was that it was inexplicable. That's what made it magic.
But is that just fitting into the "magic is science you can't explain" response he'd gotten earlier? It makes his head hurt.]
I guess... the ability to change the world around you at will?
Re: 19th

[He smiles and shrugs.]
I can give you a demonstration, though, if you want. As much as I can pull off that is.
Re: 19th
[...right.]
That would be lovely.
19th
[He edges away from that topic again. Proooobably should be more careful.]
I'm still in training, so I can do much... mostly lightning and flying. But I can carry people in the air, and there's some little spells I can pull off.
Re: 19th
I'm trying very hard to not hear anything at all, but I can tell you aren't being entirely honest with me because you're doing it quite loudly. It's very annoying, and I hope you realize that.
[he'd rather think about this magic thing, really.]
Well, I have seen you flying, now. Though I wouldn't mind at ask experiencing it for myself.
19th
Look, I'm sorry, okay? It's like... time-travel law. There's stuff you can't talk about. Don't you guys have rules like that?
[He'd like to be quoting the Prime Directive right about now, but that would just dig his hole any deeper.]
Re: 19th
Try not to think so loudly if you don't want me to hear. I have a headache as it is, and I can't really stop myself from listening unless I want to be in a stupor.
The rule would apply if I were asking you about events in my future. I'm not. [Eyebrow. Are you rules lawyering him, young man?]
19th
[This conversation might be dangerous, though. Maybe he could come up with a magic shield? ...Does he want to be messing with his own head, though?]
Anyway, how do you know it isn't your future? I mean, I don't even know who you are. You could be my great-great-great grandkid or something.
Re: 19th
[He raises an eyebrow.]
Considering you're not Betazoid, the chances are that are precisely zero. But if you're fishing for my name, I am Lieutenant Commander Lon Perigen, currently serving as the head of the astrophysics lab on the Enterprise.
19th
I hear it's a big deal to be on the Enterprise. Congratulations.
[That's safe, right?]
Re: 19th
But thank you. It was quite the little coup for me, since I didn't graduate from the academy all that long ago. But the captain liked me, and I've done some very good research.
Re: 19th
Well, good for you. Nice to be, uh, gainfully employed. I'm still in high school back home.
