What: First Annual Luceti Tournament
When: May 2nd
Where: Battle Dome
Summary: Peony has made good on his promise to set up a tournament and today is the day for all the action.
Rating: PG-13 for the violence/fighting/possible language.

Finally the promised day has arrived! As competitors and audiences alike gather for the start, the whole outside area draws the eye to the grand carpet and banners with symbols for every event. There is also a table being restocked with free snacks and water bottles for those waiting around or still finding their way. Most notably, though, is a signboard with the times for all the events and competitors.

Whether you're competing or here for the entertainment, however, it's hoped you'll enjoy the events and fight or cheer hard! Now without further ado, make your own threads or comment around and let the games begin...

Healers thread!

Healer list: Mia, Grune, Raine.

If you were beat up by your opponent, you'll be helped by someone to the red tent close by to see that your wounds are cared for. So just rest and let one of the three beautiful healers see to you before you are discharged back into the world~

Alternatively, this thread is also here if the healers want to play out a scenario amongst themselves.

[ Raine is milling around, observing some of the battles from her vantage point, and checking to make sure the supplies in the tent are organized, up until the injured finally begin to make their way over to be tended.

In which case, she'll quickly guide them over to have a seat so they can be checked over, and they'd better not put up a fuss about it. ]

[ SO HE GOT BEATEN TWICE.

Also his pride. But he might as well check to see if he's injured again. He beelines for Raine, tho. He hasn't really talked much to her since that bit where she was whacky in the tea shop. Even if he had seen her around a little ]

[ Rule of Tea Shop is that we don't talk about what happens in Tea Shop. Or in any case, Raine isn't about to acknowledge it, instead waving him over to a seat. ]

Well, it doesn't look like you have any open wounds, and you still seem able to walk, so that's a good sign. [ Unless he's hiding them, but for now she'll give him a cursory checkup once he's sitting. ] Anything I should know about?

Just that I think I might have broken a rib. Or at least bruised something pretty bad down there. [ He leans back, and winces just a little. He's not 100% sure which one it was ] Well, and I wounded my pride.

Well, there's nothing I can do about that last one. But I'll see what I can do for the rest. Lie still and I'll have a look.

[ She waits for him to pull his shirt up as well. The one good thing about the filial magic abilities was being able to gauge even internal injuries, rather than being limited to healing surface wounds. ]

[ Down and shirt pull up. As usual, he's got the little scars there as well as the truly nasty one on his left side from where she resurrected him after being pretty much impaled ]

[ What a collection of scars. But for now, she focuses on his new wounds, hovering her hands over his exposed chest and letting the magic flow through as she concentrates, sensing... a side effect of being possessed by Nala on more than one occasion, the more focused she is on the energy, the more distanced she seems.

There's the brusing, and the broken rib... so now she has to focus her energy in making sure that it heals properly, A shift in the energy, as it changes from studying to actually healing. It's pretty simple, all told, but... ]

[ It also feels warm and somewhat comforting, but also just a little hot. It's interesting, having been healed in more than one way, he's not sure if he imagines it but he could swear that all of them feel slightly different, and his favorite will always be when Katara uses her water...

But that's just getting picky. By some miracle, he's getting a broken rib mended in no time. He even smiles [

... [ Her eyes are a little distant for a moment when the glow fades, and she shakes her head a little, before seeing that little smile of his. ]

Ah.. [ And he now makes to feel at his lower abdomen and... ] Yeah, it's feeling better, I think!

Just sit and rest a while. Your body needs to catch up.

So you want me to lay here- will you be remaining?

It's not like I've been going far from this area. [ She really should stop being cagey with those answers. ] Would you like a snack? It might help your progress.

[ NOD ] Actually, that sounds nice. Snacks and a little bit of recovery next to Raine-san?

[wise_maiden]

Then I'll find you something. Any preferences? [ She has a feeling the answer is no, but it's always polite to ask... ]

-Oh, you want to find me something? Hey, if you've got pretzels, I'm all over those. I'll accept anything Raine-san were to offer, though.

[wise_maiden]

[ Well, if she just suggested he stay put, she might as well get him something. ]

I'll see if they have any. Or something similar. Hang on.

[ And she'll duck out unless he has something to add to that -- there's a table filled with snacks outside. She finds a sandwich roll that's probably more filling, and there is indeed a pretzel, so she'll head back in with that and a drink shortly. ]

[ By then he vacates the patient resting bed thing to instead sit in a nearby chair. After all, someone else might need to be looked at before then! It hurts, a little. But it's mostly healed, and he's got to sit here to watch more. When Raine comes back he waves to show where he is ]

[ Ah. There he is. And she had been finished examining and healing him up, so it works out. ]

Here you go. They had a few things to choose from.

[ He stands to get them, smiling a bit ] Thank- you, Raine-san.

Though actually, unless there's an injured fellow up next, I do have a question to ask.

Oh? [ She glances around. Looks like one of the others grabbed the next one... ] It seems I still have time, so go ahead.

Okay... and. Are you seeing someone right now?

'Seeing someone'? [Masaomi what.] ... Are you... referring to dating?
