This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

Please note that there is a specific top-level comment thread for:

[Being greeted by a stranger so kind enticed a small, knowing smile out of Jack too.]

Another selfless one, huh? Don't you go throwing yourself in harm's way too, I have enough of that with Rudy.

[But there was really no sense in only one of them taking comfort in a little food when the situation was so grim, so he tosses the apple into the air, whips out his sword and slices it in half.]

[Welp, can't let good food go to waste. Despite Mickey's weariness, he's still as fast as a short and nimble body would be. So he's instantly on his feet and under the slices, catching them both with ease. He offers the first half to Jack, while biting into his.]

Heh heh...!

Looks like you've still got some fight in you.

[He comments as he takes his half and takes a bite out of it. He'll let the silence fall a moment as they chew, keeping a watchful eye out for any potential ambushers.]

I'll admit, as weird as the place is, I didn't expect to see a mouse running around wielding a weapon. You seem pretty good at it though.

[Another moment and he gives out a weary sigh.]

I don't even know what I'm doing here...

All I know is, when a fight starts, there's always a good chance the good folks get hurt. That's why I'm here.

[Chew, chew, chew swallow.]

That, and... information. Not sure what I can learn, but I never did like being left in the dark.

To protect the good? You're a pretty noble-hearted mouse if that's the case.

[He chuckles a little at the realisation of just how crazy this situation was when he thought about it.]

I'm with you on the information front too. I need to know what's going on here, what the hell we're all fighting for. I'm not just somebody else's pawn to be used for fodder.

[he nods in agreement, trying to slow down his eating so he can savor the apple.]

I'm a fighter, but I'm not just gunna fight for anythin'. Seems like ever since this whole place plucked us from our worlds, it's like we're puppets on a string.

We have our own hearts and minds and it sounds like we know it. Let's not forget that.

[He offers a hand.]
