This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

Please note that there is a specific top-level comment thread for:

• The day 3 arrival of the draftees and the 6 hours that follow until the bomb is dropped

Day 1 yeeeah!

[Jack just so happens to come across Lugia mid-battle with some of the cultists. It was kind of hard not to when you were looking at a giant white beast of some kind, even with all the conflict going on around him. Honestly, he's not entirely sure if the thing's on their side or not, failing to spot the Filial wings at first, so he chooses to be cautious as he approaches his vicinity, trying to get a better look.

...that is until one of the soldiers trying to assail the creature spots Jack and decides to dive for him instead!]

[After blowing away several cultists with a Whirlwind, Lugia happens to notice as one of them goes for Jack.

He can tell the difference between the cultists and those from Luceti.

Lugia will turn and then fire off a highly pressurized blast of water from his maw in the form of a Hydro Pump. The blast slamming into the cultist going after Jack, just barely missing the human himself. The would-be attacker is then flung into one of the dead trees, impaled by a splintered branch.]

[It all happens so quickly that all Jack can do is freeze as the torrent of water shoots past him, inches away from sweeping him up at the same time! But when he turns to see the cultist skewered and lifeless he realises that the beast was trying to protect him...

So it was on their side?

Looking back up at Lugia, the swordsman suddenly seems instilled with renewed confidence. It was almost like some kind of Guardian and a powerful one at that. With the area clear for a moment, Jack runs closer to the creature, trying to catch his attention.]

Hey! That was pretty cool! What do you say we team up for a while?

[After that display of power, the remaining cultists hesitate in their attack, giving Lugia time to look towards Jack as he approaches. The Pokemon nods.]

Very well. Would you be able to fight in the air?

[After all, that's where he's most comfortable really and it would be safer for Jack.]

[He wasn't quite expecting the creature to speak to him, much less telepathically, so it's probably not surprising that he winces a little at the sound of that voice. Wow, he really was like some kind of Guardian... Wasn't this the princess' field?]

Uh, I can't say I'm at my best up there, but if you get me close enough to the enemy I'm sure I'll be able to do something.

[With the attacks this thing can do, he's not sure if it's really worth him contributing anyway. Still, being in the air would also allow him to get a better view of the environment and see if anyone else needed help.]

Comfortable? I'm raring to go!

[No seriously, Lugia's given him some renewed vigour over here. They'd make an unstoppable team, surely? He'll run up to the big guy, jumping up to use his wing as a platform to get up on the Hydra's back, hoping he'll get the right idea and co-operate...]

[Lugia doesn't object as he hops on. In fact, as soon as Jack has settled, the Pokemon launches into the air.]

Hold on.

[Lugia will then zip through the sky with a speed he might not expect. He dodges as things are fired at them, but soon dives for a group of cultists.]
