This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

[Who else is too restless to find sleep? Thor. He has not had the time nor the inclination to do so with the bomb yet unfound. It is early in the day yet, not even dawn when he circles back to the main encampment and check with those that would offer their command. Steve he seeks out for instruction if there is any to give aside from razing their enemy to the ground. That he might manage all on his own.]

[Steve is taking in odd moment to rest, apart from the rest who are working out plans and missions. He knows what his priority is, what he'll have to do. But he wanted a few moments to himself before throwing himself back into the fray. Despite this, he doesn't seem unhappy to see his teammate.]

Big day for us.

We've time to seek it out. [He is confident in this- for he must be. A second round of oblivion is not something he is eager to endure.] It will be found and disarmed and the day won. Such as it is.

[Any victory will be bittersweet in light of what has been done to the residents of Zompania.]

I don't have any doubt of that. [He attempts to smile. There hasn't been much of anything to smile about for days, but he has hope that they will succeed in their mission. Too much would be lost if they didn't.]

I'll seek you out, after. I think I've a bit of mead left for a celebratory drink. There is not much here worth celebrating, but that? Warrants a drink.

I couldn't agree with you more. [He couldn't imagine what he would rather celebrate more at this point. It would mean so many things; their survival for one.]

When does your team head out?

Less than an hour. They wished us to rest for a few moments before we head deeper into the city. [ Though for all it was suggested he finds himself unable to do so. The air thick with blood, the streets with bodies of those they could not save? Tis a far thing from the berzerker rage of his youth he does feel but something...similar does simmer. ] And yours?

That's a good idea. You're going to need all of your strength. [It would be a good idea for him as well, but he knows he wouldn't get much sleep even if he were to try.] About the same. But I think we're leaving a little earlier so we'll have the distractions started by the time your team leaves.

You as well, my friend.

[ Though it is unlikely either of them will have a chance to rest. It is not in their nature to sleep when there is work to be done. ] You will mind your team well, yes? I know not who it is you shall command.

I'll do my best. I'm leading a small group responsible for dismantling the airships. Many of them are strangers to me as well. But I'm sure everyone of them will do what needs to be done.

After what we endured on the first day? I'm certain of it. We've all the best incentive anyone could ever imagine.
