This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

Let me see, then.

[She'll start with his arm; once she begins using Psynergy she'll find out about his other injuries, but she can see the cut and it only underscores the memory of a different pokemon trainer.]

This won't hurt, but I'd like you to hold still, please.

Okay.

[ He holds out his arm a little so she can get a better look at it. After he does so he tries to keep still as much as possible. He was even a bit curious on how she was going to as the only things he has seen heal others until now are Pokemon. ]

[Mia holds one hand over the gash; Ash won't see anything, but he'll feel a soothing sensation running through it, gentle like cool water. She's too empty of energy to close it all the way, but the pain will recede for a few hours, too.]

Is that better?

[ The soothing sensation was the best thing he's felt since this all started. And even though it doesn't close all the way the pain receding was enough for him to give a small smile. ]

Lots. It felt really good too.

Good. [Mia smiles back, pulling bandages out of her bag to protect what remains of the gash from any further damage. Ply is a purifying spell, so Ash is spared any disinfectant.] You should try not to use it, at least until you can have it healed the rest of the way.

[That might take days, although she hopes otherwise. Mia uses another spell to help relax and restore his damaged back, then turns her attention to Pikachu.]

And what about you?

Okay, I'll try. [ Try being the keyword. Hopefully he doesn't have to use it often but it'll depend on how much longer all of this lasts.

Once his back feels restore he stretches just a little as Pikachu looks at her. ]

Pi? Pikachu.

[ He show a cut behind his ear and a scrape on his side. He's also pretty battered all over just like his trainer but those were the two places that hurt the most. ]

[Hm. It's so small, and just as helpful as its human, to all appearances. Mia tries to put more friendly into her smile.]

Will you come closer? I think I can do a lot for you, but it helps me focus if I use my hands.

[ Pikachu nods and hops forward. This person helped out his best friend so he doesn't have any objections to her helping him.

And as Ash feels the same way he simply watches without speaking a word. Normally he's talkative but all this has been hard on him. ]

[Now that he's close enough to touch, Mia carefully settles her hands on either side of Pikachu. He's so small, she uses a lesser-strength Ply and it still gets the job done, healing his cuts and bruises to almost nothing.

For all she does for people, it's sweet and refreshing to be able to help a different kind of creature, too.]

[ There's a small relaxing 'chaaaa' that comes from Pikachu as the healing feels really good.

Especially after all the damage he's received. Ash even smiles a bit when he hears and sees that Pikachu's wounds are becoming nearly nothing. Seeing his best friend become energized means a lot more to him than himself. ]

[Mia's tired, after that, but aren't they all tired? It gives her mental strength to help Ash and Pikachu, at least; she looks at them both with a soft smile.]

You should get to safety and rest for a while, both of you.

[ Once she's done Pikachu hops back to Ash before chirping out a thank you in his own language. After giving Pikachu a small rub on the head Ash looks at Mia. ]

Thanks for th' help. Y' should try t' find a place to rest too.

You're right, I should.

[But there are other people to help first. She was so lost and helpless before that she's pushing herself to make up for it now.]

[ Ash nods and moves to stand up again. Still hurts but it was a lot better now that his arm and back were healed a bit. ]

Do y' know any safer places to rest?

When I left, they were trying to secure the hospital here. [It's the best place for the injured to go, after all.]
