This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

At a first glance, you seem to be awfully calm despite what we just experienced. Would that be an accurate assessment? [If he could truly process it so easily, then it would be a great benefit towards their forces. But if it was a sloppy repressing job, then it could be a disaster waiting to happen.]

Additionally, do you have any kind of battlefield experience at all?

Of course. I cannot say the experience was not unsettling, however dwelling on such a thing for too long would not be helpful, and time is a limited commodity at this time.

[Iroh can't help but grin a little at the question. It was refreshing for someone to not know his military exploits truly]

I have been involved in the military since I was sixteen years old, about 40 years of experience if you include time taken off. I have both front line battle experience, as well as leading an entire nation's forces into battle for some time. Though I am retired, most still refer to me as General Iroh.

My, my. It sounds like you have quite the resume. [He says with an amused tone. He rubs at his chin as he thinks over the fatcors. Wise, capable and yet deferring to his authority.]

You sound like you're fit for combat, and perhaps even a leadership position. Currently, we need to arrange scouting groups to assess the situation and determined the best path into the city.

I shall gather a small scouting team and go forth ahead. Do we have a map of the terrain?

I'm afraid that we have not been provided with one. That's one reason why these scouting parties are vital. They'll give us a better sense of the lay of the land, and allow us to perhaps construct some crude working map.

Well, I am no cartographer, but I shall do my best to add to the map. I have studied them often enough to get a rough idea.

I would appreciate any help that you can give. Even without physically drawing things out, writing down general directions and descriptions of landmarks should suffice.

Oh yes, shouldn't be too long from now. Though it is better to go three days without food, then one day without tea. Clearly I don't miss much of both, haha!
