This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

Please note that there is a specific top-level comment thread for:

[Standing at Vegeta's side, and ready for combat, he meekly smiles at the older man.]

But we will know what hit them! Because... It will be us!

ok that was the best way lee could have responded to that ever i'm laughing so hard

[Vegeta just glances over at Lee.]

Lee. Just shut up and kill them, got it?

[A large group of cultists have left, heading in their direction, looking angry...]

haha excellent

[He nods eagerly.]

I won't let you down! [And he quickly turns his attention to the approaching Cultists. He assumes a fighting position, ready to wreck it.]

[misterbrief]

[Looking back toward their enemies, he sighs. Out of everyone in Luceti, why did he get stuck with Lee. Even as his not!son. Oh well. As long as he can hold his own, it didn't matter.]

[Keeping behind the tree still, they wait, until their targets arrive. Stepping out without warning, he runs a fist through the stomach of the first cultist that gets in his way. And throws the body at another, knocking them both over onto the ground.]

Pathetic.

[He looks towards his enemies, feeling a little excited. Out of everyone in Luceti, he was honored to be stuck with Vegeta. Even as his not!father.]

You have done well, Vegeta-san! [And he takes the opportunity to punch at the Cultist whom had fallen over repeatedly.]

[misterbrief]

[If only Vegeta could see how perfect Rock Lee is]

Concentrate on the fight, idiot! Look, behind you! [There's a couple more cultists coming, and he dodges and counters them too. It doesn't seem right to him, there should have been a lot more coming after them.

Is it a trap?]

Yes! Here I go! [Lee doesn't think about the details. He just launches himself straight into battle. After turning to face the approaching ones, he works on disarming Cultists if need be and then focuses on knocking them back with a barrage of punches and kicks.

[misterbrief]

[As the fight goes on, more and more cultists swarm them. The Third Party has seen that they're only dealing with two individuals, and that they should be much easier to take out than this, so they send more. Whoever can destroy their towers shouldn't be allowed to live much longer. Elites start to arrive, adding another element of danger to the fight.

He's fighting his own off, when a few elites jump him, knocking him in the direction of Lee. He grits his teeth, almost running into the young ninja, skidding to a halt.]

It's about time they started taking this seriously. Lee, they finally decided to send us worthy opponents. Take a look.

[Rock Lee had just taken down one more Cultist when Vegeta nearly slid into him. Lee got into a ready position, standing by Vegeta's side.]

Ah... Are those Elites? I can't wait to take them on!

[misterbrief]

Go ahead. I'll let you have these ones. But the next ones are mine.

[He's got no problem taking turns. He'll just kill off all the baddies around the elite group so they don't interfere. After all, that wouldn't be fair.]

[niceguypose]

Thank you, Vegeta-senpai! [He doesn't have his weights with him, so he's moving at his full normal speed, trying to engage two of the Elites at the same time with a barrage of high-speed punches and kicks. They stay on the defensive as they keep up with his attacks, for now.]

[misterbrief]

[He doesn't respond to Lee, looking on, but he's not going to get to stand there for long. They've sent out more reinforcements than Vegeta has realized, and not only are there foot soldiers he'll deal with, but a few elites sneak up on him. One slams his fist into the side of his head hard enough to knock him right over, and then a few more behind him run at Lee, adding a few new unknown opponents to Lee's fight.

Vegeta strains to pick himself up, not ready for the attack and certainly surprised something hit him that hard. He doesn't even have enough time to warn the ninja about what's happening.]

[Lee had been focusing his efforts on the first two Elites, so he did not notice the newcomers until it was two late. One slams him in the head with a club from behind, and he falls over as another Elite kicks him along the ground.]

Ugh...

[And he looks towards Vegeta's form as he tries to recover himself.]

Vegeta-s-! [The wind promptly leaves him as one Elite punches him in the gut.]

[misterbrief]

Lee! [Blast it, they'd gotten him too. He rolls to the side to narrowly avoid an invisible ax coming down on his head. Finding himself on his back, he raises his palm and blasts it away, sending it flying. But before he can get up, another elite's sword comes down through his arm, pinning him temporarily to the ground.

Vegeta lets out a scream at the pain, anger welling up inside him at these worthless weak opponents, getting the better of him like that....]

No! [He hears that scream, the scream of the man who was once his father, and he feels so powerless. Wasn't he supposed to protect people this time? After he had failed to protect Rapunzel the time that she had been drafted...

There's no choice. He pushes back from the Cultists and starts opening his Chakra Gates, power flowing through him as his body's limiters are lifted one by one.]

[misterbrief]

[The amount of pissed off Vegeta is at this point is immeasurable, as he reaches over with his free hand and grabs a hold of the blade, snapping it in half. He's still pinned to the ground, but he'll fix that soon enough, he thinks. Looking up at the cultist, he yells-]

What was that, you think that was about to stop me? Fool, you have no idea what you're dealing with!

Fourth Gate of Pain! [He's seemingly surrounded by a firey aura, and his skin turns red as his body powers up. He then rushes at the Elite, moving faster and hitting harder than ever. The enemy is forced into the defensive while the others observe him for the moment.]

[misterbrief]

[He only has a second to look over when he sees Lee rushing the elite. It's astounding, he didn't know that Lee could do that. He hasn't bothered to free himself either, dumbfounded by the sight. What is that, Kaio-ken? That's not what the boy shouted. As Lee assaults the elite, Vegeta removes the broken blade from his arm and stands up, holding it as the blood flowed from his arm.

He can't figure it out, Lee isn't using chakra, it doesn't feel like he is.]

[He isn't exactly using his chakra; but by opening his chakra gates, the flow of chakra in his body is rising drastically against the limiters of his body, energizing him with such increased strength and speed.

Lee keeps on pounding away the Elite, who is slowly being worn down by Lee's vicious assault.]

[misterbrief]

[There it is, now he can sense it. Well, looks like the boy had a hidden power that Vegeta never noticed. Maybe he was suppressing that power the whole time. Either way, it doesn't matter to the Saiyan now- Lee was sure giving that thing what for, and he's happy to see that. And he's definitely going to let Lee have his kill.

Vegeta turns, facing the other elites with vengeance in his eyes. They don't get much time to react, before a suddenly appears in front of them with a kick that sends one flying.]

That's okay! I should have explained earlier. (or you should have kept watching Naruto!!)

[It's the forbidden technique he boasted of long ago, now in action. He manages to disarm the Elite and then drop him with a devastating punch into his chest. But then the other Elites he were fighting choose to act, ganging up on him at the same time. Lee's speed makes it easier to elude them, but it's tougher with three of them moving skillfully at once.]

[misterbrief]

[Vegeta dispatches the ones he's fighting quickly, not wanting to waste anymore time with them. He can see yet another group of fresh elites headed their way, knowing that this was going to become ridiculous soon if they didn't do something. But let them come, he thinks.

But then he glances back over to Lee, watching him fight. He knows he's got at least a moment, so he stands with arms folded across his chest, watching the boy in action. Watching how he moves, how he uses his techniques, the whole nine yards. And, he can't wait to see how Lee decides to finish them off. After all, that's the best part.]

[He moves swiftly and strikes brutally, but with some precision to his moves, as he fends off all three Elites at the same time. They're certainly no pushovers, and occasionally they get a strike or a cut through despite Lee's speed.

But Lee keeps himself on the move. And he leaps up, kicking directly at one Elite's neck with incredible speed, and that Elite soon falls following a cracking sound.]

[misterbrief]

[Vegeta tilts his head to the side, amused. That one had to hurt. Nice move too. He's kept an eye on the approaching elites during the battle, however, and he notices something. These ones are bigger. And they look a lot tougher too. He looks back and forth between them and Lee, deciding that Lee would be fine on his own, moving over to meet the new group.

There's a lot of them. More than he had realized at first. He turns his head, to yell back at Lee-]

You'd better stop playing around back there, we've got bigger problems!

But Vegeta-san, my opponents are still active! [Even with this many Gates open, it's a tough to keep up. The remaining Elites in his group have redoubled their efforts.]
