This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

It was--

[He's about to say it was the work of alchemists, but realizes that they should probably focus on the trouble brewing.

He rolls his shoulder.]

Sure I can. Just don't shoot me with that thing, all right?

Sometimes I might hit something, even though I'm not aiming at it. But like this I should be fine! I'll do my best to strike only the enemy so please don't worry!

[Was that reassuring enough for him? Hopefully so as Erica is already getting ready to open fire again as soon as the cultists make a move.]

Day 1

[That's exactly the opposite of what he wanted to hear. He hopes his unease isn't too obvious...]

...Yeah, all right, just don't fire anywhere near me, okay?

[That might be kind of hard once they whittle down the number of cultists, but he'll cross that bridge when he comes to it. At least if she does hit him he won't be injured for too long.

Without waiting for confirmation, he charges at one of the cultists hanging on the fringe. Hopefully that'll keep him out of her way.]

Day 1

[She takes note of where Firo is moving in to attack, leading to her firing upon the cultists furthest away from him so not to run the risk of any stray bullets striking him.

While she does her best to keep firing and to keep the cultists held back while Firo deals with another, one manages to break out of her line of fire and barrel towards Firo with its weapon drawn. She could turn and try shooting them down, but they're getting closer by the second and it's too risky for her to attempt an attack. All she can do is shout out and warn him.]

Behind you! This one has an axe, be careful!

Day 1

[Firo's impressed with how she keeps the cultists pinned down, enough so that he takes his eyes off the enemies in that direction to better focus on the ones in front of him. This strategy's working fine until that one cultist breaks away. Firo doesn't even notice it until she calls out--and by then it's close enough to attack.

He whirls around and stumbles out of the way of the axe.]

Th-thanks!

[He dodges the next swing, but now he has another problem--]

Hey, how do you fight somethin' with an axe?

[It's not a weapon you tend to run into in the city.

Ordinarily he'd be too embarrassed to ask for help, but the pressure of the fight is enough to make him let go of that.]
