This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

[He's not in the worst condition, at least. It's a collection of minor wounds coupled with exhaustion. While there's a lull in combat, it's the chance to seek it out. He comes on over as she waves to him.]

Very well. [He adjusts his glasses as he waits for her to work her magic.] You're certainly keeping busy.

Indeed. [ She wouldn't have it any other way at a time like this. They still have to survive the rest of the battle after all. ] Anything broken or bleeding heavily?

Nothing so severe. I may have a number of wounds, but they're relatively minor and will simply need to be closed before they can become problematic. I do feel that I may have a slight fracture in my left arm, however.

I'll take a look at that arm. Just hold on for a moment.

[ She readies her staff for a quick cast - ] First aid.

Very well. [He stands as casually as he can, feeling the healing energy that he's all too used to wash over him. It probably doesn't feel quite the same as the fonic version, but it's close enough to feel like white noise after all his years of having quick heal jobs.]

[ The effect is what matters; as long as he feels stronger and somewhat refreshed, then the spell did it's purpose.

But now she'll gesture for him to sit on a crate not too far away from their location. ] Thank you. Please have a seat.

[He nods as he makes his way to the indicated crate and takes his seat.]

Yes, let's see what can be done.

[ The fracture requires a closer examination. There's only so much normal healing artes can do for it, so she switches her focus, studying the intensity of the fracture and gently encouraging it to heal at a quicker rate with a warmer form of energy.

After a few minutes of it, the soft glow fades, and she takes a breath. Tiring. ]

You're going to want to be careful with that. It's mended, but still delicate.

Thank you. [He looks over the hand of the formerly fractured arm carefully.] I'll certainly think twice about trying to throttle any Cultists firsthand. [He says with some dryness as he smirks lightly. He does take note of her condition at the same time to try to gauge how tired she may be.]

[ She's looking fairly worn, as even though she's been coaxed into longer breaks, sleeping is not something she's been doing much of, relying a lot on magic to keep her going. Which isn't healthy, but she's managing, as they all are. ]

Good. If you see anyone out there taking on more that they can handle, you send them right out of there.

[Well, it's better than he'd expected from a healer who's been pushing herself.]

Of course. I'll tell them to seek out the intense-looking schoolteacher with the silver hair.

In the meantime, I suppose that I don't have to remind you to seek rest when you can.

Right. [ That's because he hasn't seen her by the end of day 6. Nevertheless, she gives him a firm nod. ]

You don't. [ Someone else will just drag her to it later. ] Be careful with that arm.

[He'll make a mental note to check on her condition later when he has the time. But right now, the objective takes priority. He takes a moment to rub at his arm, giving his own assessment of its current condition, as he rises to his feet.]

You didn't have to warn me of that either. [He says with a slight smile.] Regardless, thank you. I intend to see you again later. [Then he turns himself around to depart.]
