This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

Day 4

[Perona scowls, not liking that answer very much, but it's a start. She'll be keeping an eye on this woman henceforth, though. She's been battling for days before switching over to a bit of medical assistance, at least when and where it's really necessary. Healers and those medically trained and invaluable to this draft this time around...losing one due to fatigue or stress would be catastrophic.

They have great fighters, but not nearly enough able bodies with decent medical skills. Even she herself isn't the greatest doctor, but Perona has the experience - she knows damn good first aid and how to ail the weary.]

Fine, but don't act recklessly. If you need rest, take it. I don't like repeating myself. [And she won't. Next time she's not going to be so nice.]

Day 4

I understand the position we're in.

[ ... Not that she feels that she should be defending her actions to this young woman, and she knows she's right, as well, which makes it more frustrating. Though she accepts that sometimes she's the one who needs the harsh direction if she's too caught up in things. If she wants to remain useful -- among their rare number of medicals -- she will need to take breaks more than she feels that she can. ]

Day 4

[It's not a notion of can - this woman can take as many breaks as she sees fit, as Perona had said earlier, the patients were stable - but it's a matter of that she should. And Perona knows how tasking this war has been on the body and the mind, she's not slept well at night from the nightmares and reliving her "death", and that strain can drive people to do things they shouldn't, just to keep occupied, but...they can't afford that. This is not the time and place for frayed wits and nerves.

Pursing her lips a little, she nods quietly without a word and goes to check on those that were just recently tended to, or those that still need aid in the easier ways - changing bandages, cleaning and dressing small wounds, and simply giving water and food to those that can't help themselves to it.]
