This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

[Elizabeth stares, stunned, at him. That's the most concise explanation she's heard, and it does make sense. Finally she has a way to explain it aside from 'doors to places where things that don't exist here might exist there'. Fewer words to trip on.]

[Though in the next moment, her face is falling and she's laying back against the wall of the trench.] Usually yes. I tried when I realized that whatever siphon they use on us in Luceti wasn't active here. But when I tried to step through it-- [She gestures to her face. Maybe now that they're not frantically running around, Loki can see the remnants of a fairly serious nosebleed.] It was like pushing against a solid glass wall.

I feel like I could push aside the barriers between worlds like curtains. That I could find anything if I just looked, take everyone away from this... war that isn't ours. [She has experience with that, after all. And with knowing that the second she stuck her hands into it, she wouldn't be able to pull them out cleanly.]

[She laughs quietly.] But I'm a certified hole digger. How do you like that?

Yes... I can even-- [She clears her throat, mostly to stall.] --introduce variables that I want to exist in other timelines. But it's really never worked in my favor, it's always created more problems than it's solved.

[Elizabeth looks, again, surprised and intrigued by the reaction to her power. But the next moment she's smiling and looking slightly embarrassed. This is the most positive reaction she's ever seen.] I'm Elizabeth, by the way.
