This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

Please note that there is a specific top-level comment thread for:

• The day 3 arrival of the draftees and the 6 hours that follow until the bomb is dropped

[Cliff was angry, alright. He knew it, but he also knew that acting in his frustration wouldn't get him any closer to solving the mysteries that lurked in the shadows. The confusion he read in Souji's eyes would have to remain unanswered for the time being-- they had other, bigger concerns.]

No, I haven't. I've seen planets destroyed....but, I've never seen anything like that.

[Gods, to watch a planet be destroyed? What would that even be like?

Souji shivered involuntarily and then gripped the hilt of his sword.]

The city is back that way - I suppose we'll have orders soon. ...There has to be a way to stop what happened.

[It was terrifying, and another symptom of the deletion that threatened his world. At first he was stunned along with the rest of the crew on the ship he was aboard, but that was quickly replaced by the same frustration and anger that drove his wildest accomplishments. It wasn't something he liked talking about....but he didn't want to elaborate, not now.

Especially not to Souji. It was a universe and a millenium separated from his timeline.]

Yeah, no kiddin'. Someone's pulling the strings, Souji, and I think they'll want us to do just that.

[He frowned, still looking out toward the city. It seemed quiet now, but soon, he knew, this muddy field would become a battlefield. A large force like this couldn't just appear without someone noticing.

But more than that, he disliked the idea that anyone here had the ability to just reverse time. He may have been thankful for that now, but what if those strange things happening in the village were because of this? What sort of terrible things might people start to experience if this ability bled into their town? Into the other enclosures?]

We should move.

Find Fayt-kun and meet back up. I won't lose sight of you two again and I have a feeling the battle is about to begin again.

So do I, [Cliff replied, following Souji's gaze out over the now-quiet landscape. The difference that a little bit of time could make over an entire region was astounding even to him-- if he didn't already know, he would never epect a massive battle to break out over these lands.]

And, if that's the case, I don't wanna lose sight of either of you two either. Not again...not after all this.
