This post is for the draftee-only portion of the Zompania draft--the day 3 death, time travel to day 1, and then the events until the arrival of the reinforcements. Be sure to use the above info post for any plotting needs you might have. Enjoy!

[Anise nods, blowing up Tokunaga, and moving him towards the entrance. She'll take a quick look around, making sure that there are no cultists in the immediate area, before turning back to Ion.]

Do you want any help?

[He seemed to be having trouble getting himself situated, and she couldn't blame him. The last few days had been really brutal, and it was taking a toll on everyone.]

Day 3!

[He looks up quickly, before shaking his head. He's not necessarily just being stubborn -- he's also trying to be strong here. He meant what he said when he was talking to Jade in the days earlier. He wanted to be able to protect Anise too, or at least let her be able to depend on him sometimes.]

[And he wasn't really doing a very good job right now, leaning against the wall and struggling to just sit down.]

N-No, that's all right. I've got it-- [And at this point he just kind of looses his footing and slides down the wall, hitting the ground with a definite squeak.] ...u-under control.

Day 3!

[To Anise, it was clear that Ion was trying his best not to be a burden, but he wasn't really doing a good job. Not that she or anyone else ever saw him as a burden, but it was clear that he was pushing himself a little too hard; when he did, it made it harder to make sure that he was okay, and ended up impeding the group more than if Ion had just admitted to needing to rest.]

[But, at least they were able to rest here. Anise will rush over, leaving a stationary Tokunaga to guard the entrance, as Ion falls. She'll do her best to help get him situated.]

[Well, falling essentially did the job of getting him settled, even if it wasn't the most graceful method. At least he was sitting down now?]

Yes, I'm sure, Anise. I... can at least do this much on my own. [He didn't intend for that to come out sounding harsh, but between how sore his body felt and the stress of everything around them, it was starting to get to him -- and the constant reminds of how much he can't do, no matter how true, weren't helping.]
