Day 2, evening
Yeah, it would. I wonder if they would even let us, though. There's just so much to do and so many people that need help and just like...four days just totally isn't long enough.
Day 2, evening

Me, too. If we could learn more about this world maybe we could figure out why exactly people get dragged here in the first place.
[And in doing that, finally figure out how to send people home at will.]
But, I wonder if they decided to change the mission system because we wanted to do more or because they needed us to do more...

[Find a way to send people home at will, but maybe find a way to bring people here to keep people here too. The place isn't natural, no one should be here, but Ginia knows some people have better lives here.]
My guess? A bit of both. Luceti seems to be the favored child of the enclosures.

Don't you think that's kind of weird, though? I guess it's because people from Luceti do a lot of stuff for them, but I mean, Luceti is like, supposed to be super strong compared to some other enclosures or something, right? [She's never taken the time to really think about it before, but one can almost hear the gears turning in her head as she starts to really contemplate it.] But why? Do they just dump lots of strong people there or something? Like, why do they put certain people in certain enclosures? I wonder if it's random or what...?
[She frowns a little bit. Now that the idea is in her head, it's really got her thinking. It's certainly possible that it's just random, but one never really knows with the Malnosso.]
no subject
I don't think it's random. Who gets pulled here by the world may be random, but I think the Malnosso assign people to enclosures. It's possible they're stacking the deck by putting certain people in Luceti. Building up a strong enclosure instead of spreading the strength through multiple enclosures.
no subject
But that's kind of weird, too, right? If they built up the strength in other enclosures, wouldn't that make them safer? Like, why make one enclosure so much stronger than the others...?
[Though, she briefly thinks that if Luceti hadn't been so strong...well, certain incidents may have gone much, much worse.]
Maybe it might be worth looking into if we get the chance...

[No doubt there were strong people in Pagoda, but look what happened to the enclosure. It could even be a game of numbers. Better to have a few strong enclosures and a few weak ones and lose a few weak enclosures then lose everything across the board. A cold thought, which is why Ginia keeps it to herself.]
There are a lot of things I'd love to know about this place. Like does this world even have a name?
no subject
Yeah! Or like, even how big this world is. ...It's so weird that we don't even know like, simple stuff like that.
[She thinks for a moment how often she just took for granted that everyone just knew things like that back home. She hadn't thought about it before now, but there's so much they don't know about this world that they're all stuck in. It's really a bit worrying when she really thinks about it.]

[Ginia stretches, back popping a little as she straightens and rolls her shoulders. Too many questions, not enough answers. Third Party bad, Malnosso good, it wasn't that easy. Couldn't be.
(The scarier thought was what if the Third Party were in the right?)]
I went on a research mission once. What I would give for a day with unrestricted access in that library.

[After all, back in school when researching for assignments or papers, she would write down anything that seemed even vaguely important only to end up with page after page of notes.
Not to mention her trust of the Malnosso has waned quite a bit since she first arrived. Researching things for them without knowing why they need to know makes her wary.]
I wonder how many of the Malnosso have gone through those books themselves...
no subject
[Better than some of the libraries from her own world. It was an impressive library and a shame it was so locked down.]
I admit my mission was fairly boring; I was stuck studying desert plants from different worlds. Being able to talk to people from other enclosures was worth it though. And I wonder that myself. I wonder who catalogs everything.
no subject
[Maybe if she's lucky, she might learn something useful beyond what's in whatever's in the Malnosso's library.]
Plus, if I ended up working with someone from another enclosure...like you said, it could be totally worth it, right?

[She smiles appreciatively.]
Um, I'd go with you, too, if you needed me! I-I'm not sure how much help I'd be, but I'd do as much as I could to help out!
no subject
[Especially when tasked with a boring subject.]
And I'm sure you'd be good help. You have a good head on your shoulders.
no subject
Well, like, I don't know about that, but...I've been trying to get better. Maybe it's paying off! [She laughs quietly before setting down her hot cocoa and going back to her supplies.] Um, is there anything you need? I think I can spare some stuff if you need it.

[The reality was things were still fairly grim. Supplies were short, the unstable buildings meant injuries and death were likely, some untreated injuries were beginning to show signs of infection, and the few doctors and healers were being run ragged.]
no subject
[She had been treating small injuries out and about during of her time in Pagoda, but her time in the medical center had been brief. However, if they need people then it's only right that she should see what she can do there.
Pilouette does her best to stifle a quiet yawn. Moments of rest have been few and far between, but sleep just isn't a thing that's happening right now. She can't really just go to sleep now, can she? Not when there's still work to be done.]
no subject
Don't forget to get some sleep. You need to save your energy. Working tired is dangerous around here.
no subject
...I-I know. I guess I'll try to get some sleep once I'm done organizing this stuff, then. Then I'll try to get up early in the morning and see how I can help out in the clinic...
[She hopes she can wake up early, anyway. Given how tired she is, she can only hope she doesn't oversleep.]
no subject
I'll let you get back to things then. I should check on a few things myself. Keep the thermos, I can always grab it again later.
no subject
[Really, any chance she gets to just talk to someone that's not sick or dying or injured is something that's so valuable to Pilouette right now. She knows it's a terribly selfish thing to think and she feels guilty about it, but...she just can't seem to help it.]
