[She listens carefully to his explanation, filling the similarities and differences to Smashball awsy for later. Perhaps when they return to Luceti, she can find her own ball to practice with. Ehen he talks about "shooting" the ball, she nods slightly.]

Perhaps you might let me "handle" the ball to acquaint myself with it before we begin playing?

Oh! Yeah, here. [He tosses the ball over to her with a roll of the wrist, grinning a little sheepishly.] Sorry, should have done that in the first place. I'm usually playing the game, not teaching it.

[She catches the ball with both of her hands easily enough before she experimentally bouncing the orange sphere. She finds it simple to dribble the ball, het natural grace shining through as she attempts to mimic moves she saw the other players do earlier.

After she fells confident enough dribbling and moving, she aims the ball to shoot it at the make-shift basket. It hits the rim but bounces back out and she can't keep herself from frowning.]

Well, that's no way to win.

[Fayt walks over to pick up the ball from where it lands, scooping it up and tossing it her way again.] Here, try again. Just roll it off the palm of your hand as you shoot.

[She catches it again easily, nodding at his words as she attempts to try again.

It's nearly effortless as she follows his instructions and lets the ball go. It sails through the air and bounces on the rim of the basket before falling in. She lets out a sharp triumphant cry and pumps her arm in the air.]

Ha! Nice!
