Who: Gai, Elizabeth, and all invited (and possibly some uninvited) guests
What: A wedding!
When: Just before sunset on June 30th
Where: The beach
Summary: Finally, after much planning, pre-wedding jitters, and ice cream consumed, this is it. The big day. Gai and Elizabeth are finally getting married. (Never mind the fact they've been technically married since the draft... shhhh.)
Rating: Keep it G, people, this is a public venue.
[The ocean has returned, the day is clear and sunny, and wedding fever is back in the air.]
[This time the location is the beach, and between the setting sun, the waves, and the decor there is no lack of ambiance. little battery-powered votives in paper lanters litter the space, and larger lanterns line a yellow petal aisle that leads up to a decorative arch with a few chairs. Over to the side is the reception set up, which looks like it can accommodate more guests than the ceremony. Frames draped with chiffon and lit with little electric light strings indicate both food and bar/drink areas, and similar setups surround both small and large tables for seating, lit both with electric lights and votives in varying glass jars. And of course, there’s music and an open floor for dancing.]
((OOC: Close CR/specifically invited friends are welcome at the ceremony, but the party is definitely for anyone who wants to come see the spectacle or welcome back the ocean! ♥ ))

He didn't expect, then, to feel it nestles into his hand when he opened it, still watching Elizabeth, caught up in the silent spectacle unfolding in front of them. A wedding was such a thing without the music, the chatter, even the rustle of fabric or the hush of bated breath. In absolute silence, every movement was vivid, every expression a flickering record of emotion, and he was almost too entranced by the drama unfolding in front of them to glance down and see the flash of gold, faintly scuffed around the edges. And cheesy as it is, in that moment, it all makes a little sense. This is what Eugene wants. These looks. This thing of space and touch and undivided attention.
He swallows down what most definitely are not tears, closing his hand tightly around the ring and tapping out his response on Eugene's palm.]

[ They would have this moment, like Tony, Pepper, Elizabeth and her beloved before them. But once Jack was hearing again, once they had things squared away and the timing was right. Leaning over a little, he pressed a kiss to Jack's temple, keeping his eyes on the lovely bride as she approached the groom, took his hand, and stood side by side. ]
DAMN, SHE'S V PRETTY. U WANT TO WEAR THE DRESS?

She always did like to keep her mind busy. And it had been pulled off beautifully so far. He might need to bother her for some advice once she was settled. ]
I'LL WEAR WHITE IF U WEAR DRESS
[ The kiss drew his attention away from the ceremony briefly, grinning at Jack in a way that was both fond and amused. Tomorrow would be pancakes, he suddenly wanted him able to wear that damn thing again. ]
