Summary: Finally, after much planning, pre-wedding jitters, and ice cream consumed, this is it. The big day. Gai and Elizabeth are finally getting married. (Never mind the fact they've been technically married since the draft... shhhh.)
Rating: Keep it G, people, this is a public venue.

[The ocean has returned, the day is clear and sunny, and wedding fever is back in the air.]

[This time the location is the beach, and between the setting sun, the waves, and the decor there is no lack of ambiance. little battery-powered votives in paper lanters litter the space, and larger lanterns line a yellow petal aisle that leads up to a decorative arch with a few chairs. Over to the side is the reception set up, which looks like it can accommodate more guests than the ceremony. Frames draped with chiffon and lit with little electric light strings indicate both food and bar/drink areas, and similar setups surround both small and large tables for seating, lit both with electric lights and votives in varying glass jars. And of course, there’s music and an open floor for dancing.]

((OOC: Close CR/specifically invited friends are welcome at the ceremony, but the party is definitely for anyone who wants to come see the spectacle or welcome back the ocean! ♥ ))

Hilda may be more okay with that than she would like to be. It is absolutely the drinks. There is no mistaking it.]

[Though is the reception area really the best place to do it at? Maybe a little further away... Hilda would like to embarrass Masaomi - it is her final goal, after all - but it wasn't good social grace to interrupt such a nice atmosphere for her own desires.]

I only wish we were in more public a place. That would certainly be fun, wouldn't it? [Though she's glancing at the ocean as she says this. Hmmm. Not too far away, but it wouldn't disturb others.]

So you're telling me that the princess has that sort of streak?

[ He says this with a fairly wide and somewhat nasty grin, trying to get her to slip it up a little. He knows by now she can keep time perfectly, so he can't make her miscount the two minutes or something, but he no doubt can make her do it in a painful way. That'll probably be easier to deal with than the reverse, right? She wouldn't actually hurt-hurt him...?

Plus, they are both sitting across at this table. She also stole his drink. Jerk ]

[She narrows her eyes, pushing the drink far out of his reach as she gets up and goes to stand behind him.]

I was only thinking, Masaomi, that such a beautiful event should not be ruined by your screams of murder. Wouldn't you agree? But if I were to let you off tonight, then you may dance with Crys without my notice, and I simply cannot have you in that sort of position.

[Hilda pauses, laying her hands on his shoulders.]

Will you join me by the ocean?

[ The ocean. ...But yeah, she's right, there's no need to ruin Elizabeth-san's moment. So he nods and makes to stand ] Yeah, the ocean's probably our best bet.

[Hilda quickly steps away, taking the lead this time with a swayed gait. She's balanced, sure, but. She's using her concentration to make this look graceful.]

While I came because of Crys and to see the ocean, you do not seem to be the type to come here willingly. What was your purpose?

[ But is she taking the drink...? ]

Well, I do know both the bride and the groom, technically.

[Yes, actually. Alcohol should never be left alone.]

How long have you known them? Are you rather close?

Nope, I'm not close to either. The bride I've probably known a year, insofar as you "know" anyone who you don't regularly talk to but see around. As for the groom... well, he's some guy I've worked with a bit before.

[ He puts his hands into his jacket pockets as they near the water. Man is he going to need to take off his shoes? He's definitely going to need to take off the jacket, at least... ]
