Who: Open to all! (Teachers, Students, the curious, newcomers welcome, anyone who might be at the battle dome around 1-3 pm, etc)
What: First Week(s)? of School and other catchall
When: September 17th-25thish (17, 18, 22-25 are class days; others can be used for clubs or tutoring or hanging out and the like if you want)
(Classes run from 9 AM-roughly 2:30 PM, and the log can include before and after-school activities)
Where: The school! (someday there'll be a cohesive layout for this)
Summary: The new year of school is finally underway, with testing, a look into classes, and general interaction for all involved.

[As mentioned here, it's the start of a fresh term!

For some sense of guidelines, the morning of the 17th (Wed!) will be filled with testing and review, for new students and returning students alike, until the lunch break. (And if anyone misses the initial testing, they can always take it at another time! Very handwaveable, that.)

Students can chat before they begin or after they finish, but they will be penalized for during. There will be baked goods and lemonade as a treat during the lunch period and after school. (If they need more time for the tests, they won't be allowed to leave the room with the others, though snacks will be made available for them as well.) Newer students can request a tour (if they hadn't received one already).

The playground is always open for after school or lunch break interactions.

The other classes - Art/Music, Magic, and World Sharing - will continue on as usual, and will be similar through the week. Magic will start off with questions about progress during the break for those pursuing interest in the spirits, and demonstrations, as well as a chance to compare the concept between worlds for the newer arrivals. World Sharing will allow students to show off locations in the battle dome, either ones previously viewed or new ones they want to introduce.

The other days will follow the usual schedule!

You're not limited to the headers! Just do what you want--these are just some suggestions as to what's going on, but they aren't the be-all-and-end-all of what can be played with! Chat with each other, set up things! And by all means play with the current ongoing shifts! It's meant to be for CR!]

[Lunch]

[Any day!

Have a seat, relax, talk about your day so far with your friends, talk to someone new, either bring your own lunch or take from some of the provided food (which are mostly supplied from the convenience store) which are basically sandwiches, rice balls, cookies from the bakery, etc. And bottled juices and water. Or lemonade and cookies, if it's the testing day.]

[Aang had settled down near the playground for lunch, with a simple veggie sandwhich. During the first half of the lunch break, everything seems to be normal. It's the time for more casual conversation.

But after that, something red-and-orange flits in the corner of Aang's eye. He's not sure if he actually hears that oh so familiar laughter or if it's just being imagined to fit the child running across the playground. It's Ikki.]

Ikki! [He'll cry out and run in an attempt to catch her in a hug in unbelievable joy. But his arms scoop around empty air, and he's left kneeling on the ground in stunned silence.]

[She doesn't usually step outside during the break, though sometimes she does, just to observe and make sure that things are in order. Never know when a surprise attack or shift might happen. Even in "peaceful" Luceti.

Though a sight she doesn't expect to see is Aang kneeling on the ground, further away from the others.

When he seems to not make an attempt to move, she moves to approach him.]

... Aang?

[He was staring blankly at the ground when he was snapped out of it by Raine calling his name. He turned quietly to face her, trying to cover the hurt with a weak smile, despite freshly dried tear marks decorating his cheeks.]

R-raine! Hello.

[wise_maiden]

I didn't mean to startle you.

[But those are tears, or at least the remains of them, so something definitely was not right.

She doesn't ask, but she reaches out to touch his shoulder.]

It's okay. I- I'm fine. [He doesn't sound very convincing though. He looks up towards her uncertainly, the shoulder touch being a light comfort.]

You didn't... see anything just now, did you?

... A lot has been coming and going around here.

[And no, he's not allowed to play the "I'm fine" card. Not when it's so clearly written on his face.]

You saw someone.

[He nods softly.]

Or I- I thought I did.

... They're echoes. Echoes of time that's already passed. It's likely just a further effect of what's been going on for the past while now.

[savedtheworld]

Those... those weird time jumpy things? And... now there's echoes of people? [And he feels the echo of a memory. It's odd to think how many years it's been since they went to the swamp, and saw what they saw there.]

I... think I understand.

[wise_maiden]

[She nods, eyes distant for a moment.]

I understand that it's disorienting, and can be a little painful. It's a little like having history playing out before your eyes. If only for a few moments.

[And he whispers softly.]

Like they're back again but they're not.

It's like that old man said... time is an illusion.

[And so are pants.]

Indeed. They can't see us... since they're a part of the past.

[savedtheworld]

But we can still see them. And... and they're still in our memories.

[wise_maiden]

Yes. We have our memories of them. Which is why these visions... seem to hit all the harder. But you can't let them lead you astray.

[savedtheworld]

[He nods softly.]

I... I won't, Raine. I promise. [He adds quietly.] Ikki wouldn't want me to be upset like this.

[wise_maiden]

Just think of it as her way of cheering you on, Aang.
