It's early morning in the quiet enclosure that will someday become Luceti. The sun is rising, birds are chirping in that annoyingly cheery way that makes you want to shoot them out of the trees, and the residents are beginning to wake up. Most of them are heading to work, either to farm, or to build, or to work the shops, or even just to prepare a nice breakfast for their families and neighbours. Everyone has something to do.

And then, out of nowhere, a couple hundred strangers show up in the middle of the woods.

At first there is confusion, and no shortage of caution, from the neighbours; newcomers are common enough, but usually they are announced beforehand, and never in such great numbers. The leaders of the town are called in to ask questions. The newcomers are free to explore, but any aggression will be met in kind; if need be, the Filial of the past will defend their homes. They're hoping it won't come to that, however. You're stuck with one another for a long time, after all.

Thankfully, there is one man who might be able to bring the natives and newcomers together: Tyr.

...And the other guy, maybe. We'll see.

[He laughs quietly at her and doesn't bother explaining himself. Because he's a giant brat.]

Look here. Just as I said. There's a village, and now you can wear clothes from the Dark Ages.

[You know what, Vegeta, forget your face. She glares at him even if he doesn't spare her another glance before she glances to the village.

The much smaller village.

Oh my god the dry voice.]

Just what I always wanted, I can't wait.

[He's going to...join her in that one.]

You're kidding me.

Not a darn thing, no shops, there isn't even the blasted coffee shop...

What was that you were saying about the "Dark Ages"?

How was I supposed to know we were actually returning to the Dark Ages?

[It was kind of a joke but not but wow he was RIGHT ON THE MARK]

I don't know, did traveling to the past not clue you in?

With all that technology they have in our time, you'd think they'd have a little more now. We're not that far into the past.

[For spaceman, that's not a long time- civilizations had tech for a lot longer. A few hundred years shouldn't of been this drastic of a change, at least he thought so.]

You have a point. This isn't exactly home though. Since Luceti is an enclosure, most of their technology probably comes from what the idiots running the place give them. So if they don't really give them much... well.

[misterbrief]

[There's an exasperated sigh from him.]

What it means is that we're going to be bored.

[Yeah he's just...gunna say it. He bets wherever they can train will be like, wood and mats and that's it.]

[She just sort of mumbles that because damn she hadn't realized how much she would miss that stupid Battle Dome until just now.]

[It isn't but she's unhappy and starting shit with him makes her slightly less unhappy.]
