It's early morning in the quiet enclosure that will someday become Luceti. The sun is rising, birds are chirping in that annoyingly cheery way that makes you want to shoot them out of the trees, and the residents are beginning to wake up. Most of them are heading to work, either to farm, or to build, or to work the shops, or even just to prepare a nice breakfast for their families and neighbours. Everyone has something to do.

And then, out of nowhere, a couple hundred strangers show up in the middle of the woods.

At first there is confusion, and no shortage of caution, from the neighbours; newcomers are common enough, but usually they are announced beforehand, and never in such great numbers. The leaders of the town are called in to ask questions. The newcomers are free to explore, but any aggression will be met in kind; if need be, the Filial of the past will defend their homes. They're hoping it won't come to that, however. You're stuck with one another for a long time, after all.

Thankfully, there is one man who might be able to bring the natives and newcomers together: Tyr.

...And the other guy, maybe. We'll see.

Yeah, of course. [Maybe they can start a book exchange or something. More people had to have brought books with them, right?]

[A book exchange would be a great idea. No doubt there are a few books floating around between the future villagers and whatever might pop up here.]

[Yeah, Kari had a smile a second ago. But reading that last sentence makes her face go somewhere between pale in shock and blushing in embarrassment.]

[Oh god, if Ginia saw, how many other people did!?]

...o-oh! You mean that thing that happened when we arrived? Yeah, that was totally weird, right? I-I mean. I didn't see anyone else get randomly bathed in sparkles when they arrived. But maybe something just went weird with the time travel... shift thing?

[She's a much better liar as Hoshikyo.]

[That's probably the worst attempt at a lie Ginia's ever heard. Her expression is unconvinced, a brow arched up. Really, Kari, really? But she can't fault the girl for lying either. Magical girl identity and all.]

Maybe it was. Watch out for shower sparkles and take care.

Y-Yeah. I'll... try.

[Really, she didn't have any reason to hide it if Ginia really did see her de-transform. She considered Ginia her friend, after all. But there's always that small possibility that maybe Ginia didn't see her start out as Hoshikyo -- and as long as that possibility existed, it was easier to just roll with it. At the very least, she didn't know Kari well enough for it to be too shocking... er, hopefully.]

[For now, she'll just take the opportunity to slip away and try to reorganize herself a little.]
