[He eyes the pile, folding his arms. It's certainly an interesting idea, and who's he to knock it before he tries it?]

Well, if you can make salads outta lettuce, I don't see why you can't use seaweed instead. It's probably got more flavor!

[But, since we're on the subject of noodles--]

What kinda noodle dishes do you like? There's so many cool things you can do with 'em!

All kinds! [ This is a subject fuelled by his stomach, endless and loving. ] I like the dishes with the noodles and sauce on top, I like them in soups - I just want a big bowl of ramen, you know? This big!

[ And he even makes an imaginary bowl in his hands, one that needs them both to be held. ]

But I really love yakisoba. And rice too -- especially in curries! [ He laughs, grinning along with it. ] Great, now I'm as hungry as Snorlax!

Man, yakisoba's great! Especially when it's got beef in it and lots of crunchy veggies.

[Darn it, now his stomach's growling. He might've packed a few very basic snacks for the ride, but this talk of lavish meals makes his mouth water.]

But have ya ever had takoyaki before? It doesn't have any noodles, but it's really good.

'f course I have! And how about sushi and tempura?

[ It's here that Pikachu jumps onto him, from his shirt to up to shoulder and head. He pats his trainer's head, whiniiing. Stop talking about food, they know you two are! ]

What, are you getting hungry too? [ Heheh. ]

[He pats his belly for emphasis, smiling sheepishly.]

Truth is, I've been so busy traveling that I haven't stopped to snack. Not that there's a lot of places to eat out here...
