[ Something was.. off these days. Not in a bad way, necessarily, since everyone seemed to be much happier, but there was maybe still something slightly strange with all of it. Including Touma suddenly getting flowers for Homura right when all of it seemed to start.

Maybe that's why Madoka is wandering around outside instead, she doesn't really want to bother those two, after all, if there is something going on between them at all - even if she's curious, she won't snoop, she's not the type.

... Oh, there sure are a lot of couples out and about.. but that's okay, she'll just keep on wandering around idly all the same until she happens to pass by a certain someone.. ]

[Ayumu doesn't know why he's outside today. Actually he does... he was hungry and ventured out with some cloud cover earlier in the day, only to have the weather cruely reverse itself. Now he's hiding from the spring sun on the front porch of the grocery.

Of course she recognizes him from that time they talked, but.. there's something else about it too, some sort of strange feeling, like her heart's skipping.. a beat, maybe? ]

[It's her... the twintailed beauty from the other day...

Something about her is making his heart race (even despite the fact that it doesn't really do that consistently these days!) And she still wants to talk to him...

He may or may not be blushing as he tries to reply.] Ah... yeah. Madoka-chan, right?

Yes..! [ There's a small nod, but she's more focused on this feeling, actually. Last time she talked to him she just thought he was a nice person and fun to talk with, but.. right now, like this, she can't help but starting to think that maybe it's a little more like that. [ She's too polite to just downright ask either way..!! And she's blushing a liiiittle herself too so it would be hypocritical. ]

Yeah, it is! Even if it's too bright. [...whoops he shouldn't have said that.] I mean... it's a nice day, yeah.

Too bright..? Ayumu-san, don't you like the sun? [ she's feeling a little concerned for him-- oh, maybe that's why his cheeks are a little red!! ]

Uh, well... [he rubs the back of his head.] I get sunburnt really easily, I guess.

Ah, yes.. that's understandable.. [ nodnod, but.. okay, she's trying to go and be bold enough for this..!! ]

Really, sunburn? [ her look turns to one more of concern and-- watch out, Ayumu, there's a hand heading towards your face now to feel one of your cheeks in concern.. try to handle that!! ]

Are you feeling okay, though? Does it hurt when it's touched like this..?

[w-what are you doing?] No... n-not really.

[ayumu this overreaction is like impossible to explain away now...]

But.. you look a little like you might be in pain--

[ --retracting her hand!! ] ... A-ah, sorry! I'm going too far now, aren't I?

It doesn't hurt, though. So it's okay... [just. calm down. It's just a girl. A really, really cute girl talking to him voluntarily and not trying to injure him or boss him around...]

[ She smiles, that's right - glad he's not hurt, since.. even though they talked just once, it almost feels like they're much closer than that already in a way, or.. maybe the feeling is different somehow..? ]

I would be sad if Ayumu-san was hurt..
