[You know what's nice? Being in love. Naoi's never felt this way before--well he's pretty sure that he has but in reality he hasn't. But who cares! It's a wonderful feeling and he's going to make it last.

He wants to get his girl something special for Valentine's Day. What exactly? He should definitely start trying to figure that out soon. And get a gift for Otonashi while he's at it.

Maybe a walk around the village will help him think of something good for both of them.]

[ Valentine's Day is something that Yuri has never celebrated before. For reasons she believes to be obvious, of course, but for some reason she just... felt the need to let him know.

Of course she had no idea what the hell he even liked, so she was naturally going to head to one of the two store she liked best: the clothing store and the weapons shop.

Naturally, the tides of fate mean they're totally running into each other. (Not literally, thank god.) You know, blowing wind and flower petals and everything. ~DESTINY~ ]

[Heading to one of the stores in the plaza himself, Naoi finds himself bumping right into Yuri since he's lost in his own thoughts. It's startling at first since it's so sudden but when he looks at who it is, his begin to heat up and he loses his voice for a moment]

Y-Yuri!

Naoi! What are you doing here!? [ Tsuntsun. Because.. she was gonna go buy him a present, better ask HIM first so she can find an excuse to avoid answering him when he inevitably asks!! ]

I-I was um... [THINK THINK] Buying Otonashi a present!

[WHICH IS STILL HALF TRUE OKOK]

[ OH DEAR. Yuri looks a little annoyed. ]

You're getting Otonashi a Valentine's present?

[Gah what's that look for Yuri?! IT'S NOT LIKE THAT OKAY]

N-No! A birthday present...

Birthday?

[ Okay she actually looks surprised. Nobody told her. ]

Yeah, his birthday is tomorrow... didn't you know that?

[And now Naoi's pretty surprised. He expected her to like know everything about her followers]

[ She knows what people tell her, it's not like she grills people for information. ]

Well no one tells me these things!

[ It's not like Otonashi knew squat about himself when she was asking questions the first time around anyway. ]

I thought you knew!

[He just stares for a moment and bites his lip]

Want to shop around some with me then? Maybe you'll be able to find something for him too...

[magentarific]

[ She looks hesitant for a moment, then speaks in a very stand-offish tone. ]

I guess that'd be fine, since it's his birthday. I wouldn't want to watch you screw up so badly that you didn't get him anything good.

What?? My gift will be far better than anyone else's!

[Puffing up a little]

[magentarific]

Exactly, now that I'm with you.

[nothisbrother]

[He can't seem to bring myself to glare at her so instead he just scoffs and turns to look inside one of the store windows]

...Are you cold?

[magentarific]

Of course I'm cold, it's winter. I haven't had to deal with winter since I was alive.

[Taking Yuri's hand, he starts to lead her across the plaza]

We should get something warm to eat before we shop then.
