[Seto... watching cartoons? For a moment, Firo's heart leaps as he wonders if Seto got his sight back overnight. That happiness evaporates when the small, rational part of his brain reminds him that they still have a while to go before that can happen. Seto's probably just bored.

Firo plops down beside him.]

Hey. Ya want me to tell ya what's goin' on?

[presumablyalone]

[Seto doesn't even wait for Firo to sit down next to him to look at him. The moment he spots him in the corner of his eye, he looks over and gives him a smile]

Hey Firo-kun! Not much, I'm just watching some cartoons.

[immamartillo]

[Firo blinks and raises an eyebrow. Not only is Seto acting strange, now he's talking differently. His mouth is left hanging open as he struggles to decide which question to ask first.]

...Are you feelin' okay?

[presumablyalone]

[He just laughs and beams] Of course! I feel great. Why do you ask?

[immamartillo]

[Might as well cut to the chase. He tries not to sound too hopeful.]

Can you... Can you see?

[presumablyalone]

[Giving him a confused look but he chuckles]

Of course I can see. Why wouldn't I be able to?

[immamartillo]

But... But ya couldn't yesterday.

[He scratches his head and wonders if he could have imagined all of that. Was Luceti messing with his mind again?]

Could ya?

[presumablyalone]

I've always been able to see! [Seto just grins and leans towards Firo to poke him square on the forehead]

Are you feeling okay?

[immamartillo]

Always? But just yesterday, you-

[He links and puts his hand where Seto poked him.]

I... I'm not sure anymore.

[presumablyalone]

Yesterday I what?

[He chuckles but gives him a worried look]

Maybe you should go lay down and take a nap. I'll make you some lunch too if you'd like when you get up!

[immamartillo]

You couldn't... Never mind.

[He slouches down more. To show Seto that he appreciates the offer, he reaches up to ruffle his hair.]

Nah, I'll be fine. If I'm goin' crazy a nap probably won't help.

[presumablyalone]

[There's that hair ruffle. He beams]

I don't think you're going crazy! Maybe you just had a bad dream.

[immamartillo]

[He glances at Seto, smiling weakly. It's more likely that Luceti was just screwing with his brain. Again.]

A dream that lasted months? I doubt it. ...Oh well. I'm just glad you're fine now.

You think the Malnosso did something to you? [It wouldn't be the first time they've messed people's memories up]

[immamartillo]

It's entirely possible. those bastards just can't behave themselves, can they?

[Now time for the question he doesn't want to ask.]

So, um... Do you remember the draft a few months ago?

[presumablyalone]

Most of the time it seems like they can't.

[He rubs his head and thinks for a moment]

Back in December, right? I kinda remember it... why?

[immamartillo]

[He nods slowly and sits straight up, looking Seto in the eye.]

What do you remember about it?

[presumablyalone]

Um... we were sent to some underground mines I think. I was back at the base healing everyone that came back hurt so I didn't see much of the fight.

Why?

[immamartillo]

...What?

[Now he's sitting ramrod straight. He moves to hold Seto by his shoulders and look him straight in the eye.]

Seto, are you sure about that?

[presumablyalone]

[Okay now Firo's starting to scare him a little.]

Y-Yeah, of course I'm sure. You were there with me, don't you remember?

[immamartillo]

Okay, okay...

[He let's go of Seto, slouching back down on the couch. He stares straight ahead, looking startled but faintly happy.]

Yeah, I guess I do, sorta.

[He laughs bitterly.]

They really did mess with me...

[presumablyalone]

[Seto just... stares at him, worried.]

The Malnosso...?

[immamartillo]

Seems like it.

[He looks at Seto and manages a smile. Though the Malnosso scrambling his brain so badly seems unrealistic, he'd rather accept that than Seto actually being killed. Firo's not totally convinced, but he wants to be.

Of course, any doubts he has he's not bringing up to Seto.]

Ah, well. Looks like we're both fine now. Want me to get ya some breakfast?

[presumablyalone]

Oh! Um... sure. Do you need help?

[He tries his best to smile for his big brother but at the same time he's worried. What had the Malnosso done to him? What does he remember from that draft?]

[immamartillo]

[He would like Seto right by his side, where he can keep an eye on him, but figures that would be too suspicious. Besides, if the Malnosso did trick him into thinking all of that, he can't show that it's bothering him. With a plastered on smile, Firo hurriedly waves Seto's offer away.]
