[Grune wakes up bright and early on the morning of April 2 in House 34. Unlike many people, this is exactly where she's supposed to be, and so there's no more confusion than usual on her part.

She goes through her typical morning routine, as cheerful as always. But after breakfast, she has an important mission to carry out:

She needs to bake a delicious apple pie for her dear sweet babies in House 9. ♥♥♥

So, on April 2, catch her delivering a pie-shaped dish covered with a tea towel to House 9. It smells delicious~

On April 3-8, she'll be all over town and the surrounding area as usual, but will be spending the majority of her time around House 9, where her lovely family is. ♥]

[OOC: Grune has been AUed to Final Fantasy IV: The After Years-verse, partnered with Cecil! She thinks she's watched him grow up and has basically been a mother figure to him, Kain, and Rosa. [Action/Voice]

[Early in the morning, Rydia makes her way downstairs. She automatically heads for the kitchen, to put some tea on for herself and perhaps fix breakfast for everyone else. It's not something she does often, but today she's feeling up to the task and has the time to do it properly.

Once that's done, she heads back upstairs, humming cheerfully to herself. First it's time to tease Kain awake, then she'll call out to the others and let them know that breakfast is ready...if the scent hasn't reached them by then.]

[Sometime later, she opens her journal.]

What on earth is going on? First we lose a day, then people's possessions disappear or they're moved around instead? What kind of experiment is that? Oh, and if anyone's seen a stray chocobo, let us know. Epona got out and all we found in her stable was a horse.

[Rydia's in the living room, with her journal open in her lap, trying to make sense of this morning. Her brow furrows as she hears the same confusion from several others, but no solid information. Well, that's helpful. She sighs and closes her journal...then perks up as a certain delicious scent wafts toward her.]

[A moment after Rydia smells that smell, she'll hear Grune knocking cheerfully at the door.]

[Rapunzel is just in a cleaning frenzy this week! She's already cleaned His Highness's apartment three times over, it's not yet time to get dinner prepared, but she still feels the need to keep working before allowing herself any time to relax. There are so many houses and buildings around here...surely no one would mind if she just slips inside and does some dusting, would they? Wash a few dishes? Do a few loads of laundry?

But in any case, you may happen to find the young maid doing such things in your place of residence.

Towards the end of the week, however, Rapunzel's tendency to overwork herself starts to catch up with her, and she starts falling asleep in the strangest of places. On park benches, in doorways, just about anywhere.

She may eventually finally give into a bit of relaxation, as well. It's something she couldn't afford back home, but here, she had more time for such things. It's hard to get used to, but isn't a bad feeling. She takes a sketch pad around the village and draws out various things that she sees: buildings, scenery, even people!

Feel free to run into her at any of these places.

[A little bit in to breakfast, a very, very confused Link will emerge into the kitchen, making a beeline for the food.] Rydia? I think something really weird is going on.

((OOC: Going to uni soon, tags will be very sporadic for the rest of the day!))

[Just when Rydia thinks she's adjusted to the weirdness of everyone in the house except her and Link remembering things wrong -not to mention losing a day- something else happens to catch her off-guard. As she enters the house, she hears someone doing dishes in the kitchen. Always eager to chat with Rosa -or Grune- she just strolls on in...and comes to an abrupt halt upon seeing neither.]

Hey, what is this--

...Rapunzel?

[Forgive her as it takes a moment to truly register such a drastic change in appearance.]

[Rydia is thankfully more awake by this time as she sips her juice. She smiles upon seeing Link, then frowns in concern as she listens.]

You mean the lost memories? I've tried, but I can't remember a thing about what happened yesterday. Apparently, it's been happening all over town.

[She perks up and opens the door, grinning widely upon seeing who it is.]

Grune! This is a nice surprise--and that pie smells delicious. Please, come in!

[On the first day, Sokka wakes up at his usual early time and nothing seems too weird. He goes to work and is there until his usual five o'clock. Rather than head straight home, he heads to the Hughes house. Why? Because Winry's stuff was mysteriously moved into their house and needs to be moved back to House 56, the Avatar House. So he'll be helping Winry ferry her stuff back to where she's 'supposed' to be living. Which may strike others as odd.

Sokka can be found keeping his usual schedule for the rest of the week, so catch him anywhere.

ooc: Sokka is more or less his normal self, but Winry is from his world and a housemate.]

[When Norrington wakes up at Cullen house he does not stop to investigate what might have happened to put him there. The place has a dark and sordid history - vampires and pirates who knows what else? - and though he is by no means a coward he is not a fool either. He leaves without opening any doors or peering under any rugs, and makes for home at once.

But home is community building 6, room 10, and the door is locked. When he exhausts his options on that front his instincts come sharply into focus. Gather the scoobies.

And so it is that he proceeds to House 7 and knocks upon the door. Later he'll be visiting Willow, and then searching for Cordelia, and later still he'll be in the library poring over volumes of dusty tomes.

Oh, and he looks different. He's dressed in a shirt, vest and longcoat, wears a fedora and carries a cane.]

[She's not quite sure why it would be a surprise to see her when she's here every day, but she doesn't spend any time at all wondering about that. Instead, she beams at Rydia with somehow even greater warmth than her friend might be used to.]

[As far as Ling is concerned, nothing is unusual. He wakes up, puts on his armor (sans helmet) and prepares to go out and get some food. Although he does have an unexpected roommate to deal with. Fortunately she's a very attractive one, so he won't mind that.

Still in his armor, Ling will be following his 'new' schedule, which consists of bumming food at the local restaurants, kicking butt at the Battle Dome, and sometimes harassing his buddy Rock. Of course, he can be found always smiling with his typical squinty eyes. Even in his armor he somehow manages to get up on roofs, fairly quietly (but not as ninja-like as before) to just watch people move about. If someone's doing something interesting, he'll probably make himself known.

ooc: Ling's details are here. He's from the Mega Man Legends universe now. So he has an awesome suit now!]

[She nods and gestures for her to bring it over to the kitchen, heading that way.]

I'm sure we will. I'll have to tell Cecil and Link to save some for the rest of us.

[Ayumu was more than a little startled when she woke up— not because of who was sleeping beside her, because that wasn't too unusual, but the fact that... well, it wasn't her room. Experiment? Must be an experiment. Still, her focus will be on first making contact with Derek over the journals to be certain he fared all right in this latest mess, and second, getting out of this house as quickly as possible before she disturbs the actual residents more than the Malnosso must already have done.

The rest of the week she'll be keeping mostly to herself, as she thinks is entirely normal, though she can be found spending extensive amounts of time fighting holographic vampires in the Battle Dome, kicking and punching leaves and bushes that did absolutely nothing to her at the edges of the forest, and throwing sharp objects at targets in the barracks. Or maybe lurking about in random places, like perched in trees or on the edges of low roofs or sitting on the edge of the fountain in the plaza, writing something that seems to take a lot of focus in a battered notebook that she carries around with her.]

[Vash for the most part hadn't changed much after his visit to Joshua's world. At least, it's not very noticeable at first.

First thing he does is try to figure out why all his stuff was missing from his room. It was completely empty! So the first day he had spent some time bringing some color back to his room. Those who know where Vash lives may be confused that he keeps going with bedding supplies and other things to the wrong house.

Hopefully none of the people from Gunsmoke are worried when he doesn't come home.

Other people who know Vash, he'll be wandering around town like he usually does. Visiting the bakery and Seventh Heaven like usual, only he doesn't bother with the flower shop anymore. He also looks a little different. His hair is still up and spiky, but not as well cared for. He's also wearing a light grey coat over top a blue T-shirt and jeans. His iconic red coat is no where to be seen as well as any gloves on his un-scarred hands.

That smile on his face is also different. More relaxed, more easy, and happy. He walks easily and relaxed towards the square with a donut in his hand. Waving happily at anyone who returns his smile or those he knows.] Hello!

Oh, hello, Rydia!

[She glances over her shoulder and grins. Nothing amiss here, just doing the dishes for a friend!]

I hope you don't mind--I thought it might be a nice surprise to come home to some of your chores being finished!

[Goroh doesn't seem too different. These days he's not wearing his hat anymore. Although he still has his ponytail, his hair isn't so bad. A little spikier than usual. It's a side effect of the world he comes from. Waking up alone in his apartment is how things have always been for him, so he goes about his daily business. A lot of his time is spent at Good Spirits, maybe stop by the flower shop to harass Aerith, or hanging out on a bench and watching people behind those shades of his.

At the barracks he'll run through some drills to keep himself sharp. At the Battle Dome, he starts himself up a scenario that's different than his usual ones. He creates a long stretch of road and a motorcycle to ride on. The world where Goroh comes from? His preferred mode of travel is a long stretch of road, where there aren't any speed limits.

[For his part, Derek wakes up...on one of the benches next to the fountain, feeling that oddly familiar crawl of not-quite-pain under his skin. The sun was coming up, and the infection was definitely letting him know it. He groans, sitting and rubbing his head a little before turning to take a quick 'bath' in the fountain and then head for a building. Once inside, he'll fumble for his journal, frowning as he flips it open and starts a filtered post.]

Hey, Ayumu. You all right? They dumped me out by the fountain.

There you are.

[She's keeping her voice low, so as to not awaken anyone else in the unfamiliar house, but the note of relief is quite audible.]

I'm fine, just... not at home. I'm going there soon, hopefully before anyone here realizes they have an unexpected guest.

[Kurt is surprised when he wakes up in a room that's decorated like his, but somehow in somebody else's house. Talk about your weirdness. He tries to avoid getting spotted by his 'housemates' as he packs up the essentials to sneak out. He's gotta get back to his apartment and hope Melanie is there.

After that business is sorted out, Kurt goes back to his current project, which is getting Azzip Pizza ready to open again. With Sheik gone, he's been kind of lost about how to get it up and running. But people curious can find him inside, trying to make some pizzas and seeing if he's got the knack for it. It's not the usual job for a high tech, handsome supervillain like Ace, but it keeps him busy.

If he's not doing that, he's hanging out at the Battle Dome (noticing a pattern yet?) where he'll be setting up a scenario where he can play the fiendishly clever and good looking crook who gets away with all the loot. Because hey, it's fun.

[After waking up in a house that isn't his, hearing Nami call him Sanji, and then scouring through the journals to watch both friends and acquaintances show no recognition at the sound of his name...

Jixsan is facing that ageless dilemma again -- justifying his bad mood when strictly speaking, he is incapable of mood-swinging at all. Logically, he thinks he's within his rights to avoid everyone save Xion, lest he set them aflame and watch them roast, but he's already caught on that there are quite a few discrepancies between everyone's memories.

It's not their fault. So let it go.

... Sensible words, but it still takes him until April 4th before he's ready to search for his friends. Vash, Wolfwood, and Kotetsu are at the top of the list. Sayo, too, and he'll even put in a few hours at Seventh Heaven (as a regular chef, of course) for the rest of the week. As for Vivi... hm. He'd rather not go back to House 6 if he can help it, not after what happened, but he's not above portaling right outside her window if he doesn't find her anywhere else. That said, anyone can catch him just about anywhere - the beach, the forest, the plaza, etc - and don't mind if a black, inky portal shows up out of nowhere and he steps through. Walking is for losers.]

[ooc: AU! Information is here! Sanji is now Jixsan, a Nobody from the Kingdom Hearts games who can't feel emotion. April 2nd through April 4th are still free game to tag him, but the other character might have to hunt him down. 8|b]

[Rydia nods, dazed.]

That's sweet of you, but--what happened to your hair?!?

It's rough when Derek wakes up. The Malnosso had left him in the sun again, and it's the infection's reaction to it that actually wakes him up and causes him to move off the bench by the water fountain and into a nearby building to get away from it.

He snarls a little, of course, the unwanted instincts dictating his reactions to things he'd taken for granted as a full human. But he's soon got it under control, and even though his head is pounding from the unplanned exposure, once he's touched base with Ayumu, he goes in search of his things, which for some inexplicable reason are scattered between the Barracks and one of the apartments in community building six.

...What the hell. Still, he'll slowly gather them, shuttling them to the apartment he shares with his fellow hunter and...that other guy. Occasionally, he'll take a break, whether it's to grab a cup of coffee at one of the shops, hide in a building to get away from the sun, or to disappear for a time into the woods once the sun goes down. He'll be home for meals and the like of course, but really, he can be found anywhere, looking pale and worn, a constant reminder of the vampire infection the Malnosso could keep in check, but couldn't remove.]

[Derek smiles a little. He's still weirded out a little by knowing that his childhood friend is stuck in this place with him...but it's also a comfort. She's one of the few people he could and would trust completely, especially these days. He nods when she answers; how many times have one or noth of them been caught some place where they had to try and sneak out? He lowers his own voice, to keep it from carrying over the journals.]

Here I am. [He agrees, then takes a gathering breath.]

You've always been good at being quiet. Just don't trip.
