[Vash for the most part hadn't changed much after his visit to Joshua's world. At least, it's not very noticeable at first.

First thing he does is try to figure out why all his stuff was missing from his room. It was completely empty! So the first day he had spent some time bringing some color back to his room. Those who know where Vash lives may be confused that he keeps going with bedding supplies and other things to the wrong house.

Hopefully none of the people from Gunsmoke are worried when he doesn't come home.

Other people who know Vash, he'll be wandering around town like he usually does. Visiting the bakery and Seventh Heaven like usual, only he doesn't bother with the flower shop anymore. He also looks a little different. His hair is still up and spiky, but not as well cared for. He's also wearing a light grey coat over top a blue T-shirt and jeans. His iconic red coat is no where to be seen as well as any gloves on his un-scarred hands.

That smile on his face is also different. More relaxed, more easy, and happy. He walks easily and relaxed towards the square with a donut in his hand. Waving happily at anyone who returns his smile or those he knows.] Hello!

Hello, Vash! Isn't it a lovely day?

[Hmm.... Vash looks a little different today. Did he feel like wearing some new clothes?]

Oh yeah! Beautiful! Spring and summer are sure on their way soon, aren't they?

Yes, I think you're right. There are lots of pretty flowers now, aren't there?

Yeah, I guess there are.

[That...wasn't particularly enthusiastic.

Grune gives him a puzzled look, then tries again.]

Have you seen any of your favourite kinds yet?

[--oh, Vash is back to normal! That is, an adult again.

It's strange, though. Naoki's used to him wearing his red coat, and his hair being, well. More up. So when he does see Vash from a little ways off he does a double-take (recognising him but wondering at himself) before jogging over.]

Vash!

Naoki!? [Sadly, Vash's time as a kid has become a blur in his mind for now.] Hey man! How long have you been back?

[Mmm? He doesn't remember meeting Naoki as a kid, then? Ah well, he can roll with it!] Almost a month, now. It's good to see you.

A month! How could I have missed you for a month! Man! I must be slipping. It's great to see you too, man! [Vash is going to go ahead and give you a friendly pat on the back.]

Although you are looking just a bit different this time!

[Well, you were a kid at the time-- Naoki won't remind him, though, he'll let Vash remember on his own (if he does, mind).] Yeah, well-- A few big things happened, back home.

[Pauses.] You look kinda different, too. Where's your coat?

[Then you won't mind if someone kicks you in the back of the leg as you're walking with that donut. It may be a preacher who's been wondering WHY YOU HAVEN'T BEEN AT THE HOUSE LATELY >:^C]

Where the hell've you been, needle noggin??

[Seriously, we talked about the vanishing thing and how you shouldn't do that.]

[Vash doesn't see the kick coming at all. Too engrossed in the taste of the donut in his mouth. Well that, and he's no longer use to having to be on the look out for sneak attacks. He falls rather ungracefully to the ground, smashing his donut in the process.]

JEEZ! WOLFWOOD! Aren't you a preacher! What kind of preacher kicks a- AHHHHHH! My donut! It's ruined! [Sorry, forgetting all about you to mourn the loss of this donut.]

What the hell are you wearing? Don't tell me the malnosso's been messing with people again.

CLOTHES! That's what I'm wearing! Do you have a problem with my clothes now?!

AND YOU OWE ME NEW DONUTS!

[REJECTED. Where were we again?]

I'm confused about your clothes because they're not your coat. You're never not wearing that thing.

[I am suspicious.]

[Yeah, no. Amelia's not worried at all.

...Except for the part where she is, and Vash is going to get an earful for being an even bigger idiot than normal. She finally finds him in the bakery, stuffing his face full of donuts. That much at least is normal, and Amelia would sigh in relief if she weren't too busy being mad at him.]

Did you get lost in here all night? [Amelia stands behind Vash, hands on her hips.]

Huh? No, what are you talking about?

I'm talking about you not coming home! [Amelia leans down, since it's all the better to lecture him that way.] People worry when you randomly disappear you know.
