Jixsan, not Sanji. [His reaction is automatic, and Kotetsu is treated to nothing more than an arched brow as he strolls leisurously into the kitchen.]

[He looks Sanji Jixsan up and down, eyes wide. Wha'?]

... Not even close, Kotetsu. [Honestly, he's reluctant to start passing out the heavier details to this man, knowing what reaction will probably await him. But he's not in the mood to lie, either]

Look, a shitty experiment's going around, and everyone's remembering the wrong versions of each other.

[Pointing at him] So let's start off on the right foot, shall we? Jixsan; not Sanji. Sanji doesn't exist anymore.

So there's something wrong with one of us? It's one of those crazy experiment shift things, ain't it? [He sighs.] Dammit, and this week was looking a little better, too... 'specially after that droid-Battle-Dome thing.

[concasse]

There's something wrong with everyone. [Why else would you losers forget him? B| But hey, this is the first time he's heard anything about the Battle Dome]

... You didn't hear?

[his shoulders relax, and he puts down the plate]

That guy named Catherine or whatever and his assistant lived under the Dome and got attacked by these real hi-tech droids. They took the girl, but they left the old guy on the floor all beat up.

I guess he'd be at the clinic right now, or something. He looked like he really needed it.

[concasse]

[Catherine had a coming.

Which Jixsan makes a point not to say, eyebrows furrowed]

Anyone find out the reason?

[wildkotetsu]

[Huuuhhhh. He rubs his hairline thoughtfully.]

Probably because he was pissing the malnosso off for a while now, I guess...

But the weird thing about it all was, these droids, they were using people's powers. From around here. One even copied mine. Which makes me think that maybe... I dunno', maybe that's one of the reasons they always kidnap people...

[concasse]

[That... makes a lot of sense, unfortunately. If they can create droids that utilize powers from other worlds - perhaps exploit it further into something truly destructive - it would go far in aiding their battles.

It also makes the people in this enclosure expendable.]

Was the droid using your moves as strong as you?

[wildkotetsu]

[A sigh, as he plops down on a chair.]

Stronger than us, maybe. We didn't stand a chance.

[concasse]

If the odds were that bad, I'm surprised that guy survived.

[wildkotetsu]

Yeah... I guess he wasn't that high on their priorities, or somethin'.

But they did take the lady from there. I wonder why they'd want her and not that guy?

[concasse]

Blackmail, information, pointless torture... [He rattles off a short list of possibilities]

Most likely information, though. The Malnosso don't seem the types to keep around thorns in their sides unless there's something in it for them.

[wildkotetsu]

[oh god, could you make him any more terrified for her safety]

Then she must've known a lot. Who was she, exactly?

[concasse]

No clue. Never paid much attention to her. [And thus, Jixsan gives very little shits about her fate]

Eh? You don't know who she is? I thought you've been here a long time. [This is Kotetsu, not even realizing that you're not all freaking out and upset at a woman being in danger. Are you really even surprised, though?]

[concasse]

[No, no he is not.]

She's still some mousy girl who only just started talking to the residents. I never paid her any mind.

Huh... I guess I'll just try to find something in the journal about it. After all, it might be important in the long run. Or something.
