Shining In The Sky ★
Who: You! Everyone!
What: The Starfish Festival
When: April 14th, all day
Where: All around the plaza
Summary: It's finally here, an entire day dedicated to celebrating the starfish and spending time with friends. Have fun!
Rating: ★ Please accept this!
After months of planning and roping in poor, innocent people to help out with some of the work it's finally done. An actual festival, all for the starfish.
The morning of the 14th mostly consists of people arriving, the stalls being brought in and decorations being put up. It's all about the preparation! Most of the decorating consists of banners and streamers you might find at a school festival, all hung around doors and windows and between the buildings in the plaza. And star shaped pieces of card being stuck up here and there in places too. If the decorations don't tell you what's going on then the banners saying 'STARFISH FESTIVAL' certainly will.
Come midday the festival is in full swing. There's plenty of food at many of the stalls (either prepared by Fuuko and the other girls or brought in by other villagers) ranging from cake, ice cream and different kinds of sweet things, to starfish tea, sandwiches, all sorts of festival fare. There are a few games set up too where it's possible to win starfish related prizes like pins, badges and even plush toys and some stalls are even giving out wind chimes. Finally there's also a little entertainment provided with music being played in the background throughout most of the festival. (You should totally go listen to Kotomi giving her very own violin recital.)
By night time when most of the food is gone there will be a fireworks display to bring an end to the festival. Hopefully the Starfish Festival would be a day to remember!
(You didn't need to receive an invite in order to come, that was just the girl's attempt at getting word of the festival out there. The festival is open to anyone and everyone to come along and have a good time.)

Morning!
[Because he's definitely taller than her.]

If it's not too much trouble for you then a little help would be much appreciated Kouki-san.
[Hmph. Stupid height.]
no subject
It'll be no trouble at all. Where do you want to put this up?
no subject
Just over there on that tree, Fuuko thinks that one looks particularly bare so a little colour will liven it up and get the tree into the spirit of the starfish festival in no time.
no subject
Sure thing. Mind handing the decoration over so I can start climbing?
no subject
[Mostly because Fuuko just handed over a nice bunch of multicolored streamers, but hopefully the point gets across anyway.]
no subject
[Still humouring her or actually believes in the starfish? Regardless, he'll take those streamers and make his way over to that tree.
Time...to climb.]
no subject
[You're climbing at your own risk man.]
no subject
[Aw yeah, demon king endurance. Once he's up on a branch, he'll start hanging up the streamers.]
no subject
[She'll watch Kouki climb up and start hanging streamers, shouting out pointers here and there for where to put them. It has to be perfect for the starfish!]
A little more to your left, that branch is completely bare.
no subject
[Technically, yeah. He's a guy. Who is also a demon. He reach out and put up the streamers at Fuuko's instructions.]
How do they look now?
no subject
[Tossing her head left, then right, then left again, trying to look at the streamers from all angles.]
That looks great, keep it up!
no subject
Lemme know if I miss a spot!
no subject
no subject
[AND LOOK AT HIM CLIMB! He did put some streamer in his mouth, leaving both of his hands free to climb.
Almost at the top...!]
no subject
You're amazing Kouki-san, Fuuko could never climb that high without getting scared!
no subject
[You should have seen the demons in his army. Now that he's high up, time to put the streamers here.]
Here and here looks good...
no subject
[But now she's curious.]
What sorts of scary things have you seen then? Are they the sort of things that would make Fuuko think twice, check under the bed and sleep with the lights on?
no subject
[Because it's peaceful and non-experiment time in Luceti.]
So you can still go to bed without worrying as much.
no subject
So you're just an ordinary guy... Who has seen scary monsters in the past and still calls himself an ordinary guy? Fuuko doesn't know how to say this Kouki-san but that isn't ordinary at all!
no subject
Ahahah...yeah, it isn't. [Oh shit lies uncovered!?] Maybe I'm not so ordinary.
no subject
So you're not ordinary even though you just said before that you were?! Fuuko doesn't know what to believe anymore!
[You're breaking her Kouki. Stop it.]
no subject
[Good
godsomething, that's rather cliché.]no subject
Fuuko's heart says a lot of different things though. Did you think that up yourself Kouki-san, or did you take it our of a fairytale? It's like Fuuko has heard something like that before.
