When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it
Where: All around the town square

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

They used to use leaves to help us learn simple lessons at the temple, and I thought it would be nice to work it into the show. [pause] I'm really glad you enjoyed it, Katara.

[She shrugs, a little - uncomfortable? aware? - of his sincerity. Oh man, how does she do 'friend' right now?

Screw it, she'll just be herself. He'd know instantly if she wasn't, anyway.]

It's been a long time since I was able to just watch airbending. I think you're even more confident with it than you were when I knew you. You were always a master, but I think you're a little more balanced now.

[Aang's pretty sure that this demonstration hasn't changed her feelings on him (okay there's probably a small part of him that still thinks that), but her compliments still boost him the highest. He also just generally appreciates a candid analysis of his airbending growth since the time she came from.]

You really think so? Thanks, Katara. [He averts his eyes.] It means a lot. It's... good to have a friend's take on it.

[Oh, Aang. Can we please not be awkward? Please? How is she supposed to talk to you if she's scared of hurting you?

[She smiled and shrugged a little.]

You're welcome. So what do you have planned for earthbending?

I have something really special planned! I want to make both Toph and Kyoshi proud. [He begins swerving his head in search.] I just have to find Suki.

...find Suki? Aang, you're not thinking of dressing up as a Kyoshi warrior, are you?

Yeah, how'd you guess? I was hoping it be a neat surprise! Suki agreed to let me wear Sokka's Kyoshi costume. I already tried it on... it fits a lot better and is more comfortable than the one I wore that one time!

Well, Suki's a lot shorter than Kyoshi.

[And you're taller now.

But practical concerns aside...]

Are you sure that's a good idea?

Of course! It's the best way to pay tribute to Kyoshi. She's one of the most important people in Earth Kingdom culture, after all, and I guess I owe her from that time she helped us at that village! It'll make the performance look real unique too.

I don't know if I'd call confessing to killing Chin the Great and nearly getting you boiled in oil helping...

[But he did make a good point about Earth Kingdom culture, since Kyoshi did live over 200 years, after all.]

...It's the thought that counts! Plus, I never realized how handy those fans were.
